Web posted at: 2:14 p.m. EDT (1814 GMT)

NEW YORK (CNN) -- In sports, it's not unusual for a professional team trying to get a star athlete to pay a signing bonus. Watch this report from CNN's Gary Tuchman to find out where the offers are coming from and how much is being paid.
