CAPE CORAL, Florida (CNN) -- After Joe McCalib's significant other took off for greener pastures, he decided on a no-nonsense approach to meeting women.
Wherever he goes -- except to church or out on dates -- the Cape Coral man wears a plastic bib emblazoned with the phrase "Here I Am, Share My Life." It has his phone number and the suggestion, "Let's compare wants."
McCalib says he gets calls from all over the area -- and has even gotten them from outside the state and the Lee County Jail. But he admits that being a walking billboard for love requires having a sense of humor.
