Arnelle Simpson arrested on suspicion of drunken driving

Web posted at: 2:32 p.m. EDT (1832 GMT)BEVERLY HILLS, California (CNN) -- Arnelle Simpson, the older daughter of O.J. Simpson, was arrested early Friday on suspicion of drunken driving after her vehicle crashed through the window of an apartment building in Beverly Hills.
A police spokesperson told CNN that an automobile driven by Arnelle Simpson, 29, had run into an apartment building and that police had smelled alcohol on her breath.
She was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of what were said to be minor injuries sustained during the crash. She was released from police custody at the hospital.
The occupant of the damaged apartment had just gotten up from the chair near the window to read his Bible, police said.
