PASADENA, California (CNN) -- Two snowboarders were found in good condition Sunday after being reported missing in the snow-packed Southern California mountains, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Patrick Jenks, 23, and Claudio Maluje, 28, were discovered at 3:30 p.m., four miles south of the Snow Crest ski resort in the Angeles National Forest where they had gone snowboarding Saturday, said Deputy Cruz Solis.
The sheriff's office began searching for the pair Sunday after the wife of one of the men reported that he had not returned Sunday morning.
