DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN) -- Two more of the McCaughey septuplets have been released from Blank Children's Hospital, bringing to three the number who are at home two months after their births.
According to McCaughey family spokesman Wes Yoder, Joel, weighing 5 pounds 1 ounce, and Brandon, weighing 5 pounds 3 ounces, left the hospital Monday afternoon.
Kenneth, the first to be born, was the first of the septuplets to go home. He left the hospital January 3 weighing 5 pounds 6 ounces.
The McCaughey's seven newest children, born on November 19, 1997, are the world's only surviving set of septuplets.
The other four infants -- one boy and three girls -- are expected to be released from Iowa Methodist by the end of January.
