FORT WAYNE, Indiana (CNN) -- A few days before Thanksgiving,
some elementary school students were speaking a language not
their own.
Students at Fort Wayne's Harrison Hill Elementary were
talking turkey at the school's 10th annual "Gobble-off," a
contest with a dual purpose -- to find out which student can
make the best turkey impression, and to let all the kids burn
off some holiday energy.
Wearing turkey costumes made of brown and colored paper, the
kids took turns giving it their best gobble in front of the
entire student body.
Lane Bailey was the winner. His prize? A 15-pound turkey.
