1 killed, 4 hurt in huge Washington blaze

Web posted at: 9:05 p.m. EST (0205 GMT)BREMERTON, Washington (CNN) -- At least one person died and four people were injured Thursday when a massive early morning blaze destroyed two-thirds of the largest apartment complex in Bremerton.
At the height of the blaze, smoke could been seen in Seattle, 14 miles away across Puget Sound.
Investigators say the fatality occurred in a third-floor apartment where the fire started. Four people were treated for minor injuries.
Firefighters continued to search the debris of the complex for any other victims. A cause has not been determined.
