JACKSON, Mississippi (CNN) -- What's being billed as the world's largest popcorn ball rolled into Jackson, Mississippi, just one stop on its 1,500-mile fund-raising tour.
On Friday, Jackson's Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, and children of all ages, were invited to stick their own edible handfuls of caramelized corn on the ever-growing orb -- leaving them then to figure out how to get those sugary digits unsticky once more.
The popcorn ball's journey began in Los Angeles in September, and it is expected to arrive in Indianapolis, Indiana, in November. The tour is fund-raiser for the Boy Scouts of America.
