(CNN) -- Forty years after the integration of Little Rock High School they remember it clearly. Elizabeth Eckford, Ernest Green and Melba Patillo Beals were teen-agers then -- part of the "Little Rock Nine," a group of black students who needed an armed escort from federal troops to enroll in classes.
Another teen-ager, Hazel Bryan Massery, was one of the jeering whites shouting racial slurs at Eckford and the others -- images of a hateful moment captured by photographer Will Counts and now regretted by Massery.
Listen as they recall what happened on September 25, 1957 and how they feel about it now.
