Judge: Brown home unfit for Simpson children
March 20, 1997Web posted at: 12:09 p.m. EST (1709 GMT) LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- A California judge who awarded O.J. Simpson custody of his two young children indicated that it would be detrimental to return the children to Nicole Brown Simpson's family, according to court documents obtained by CNN. Simpson was granted permanent custody last December after a year-long custody battle against Louis and Juditha Brown. In her ruling, Judge Wieben Stock criticized the Brown household for creating what she called an atmosphere of hostility and hatred toward Simpson during the criminal and custody trials.
