Hearing sought on JonBenet's autopsy report
January 28, 1997Web posted at: 10:45 p.m. EST (0345 GMT) BOULDER, Colorado (CNN) -- The Boulder County attorney's office wants a court hearing date set to determine whether the coroner's autopsy report on 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey should be sealed. County Attorney Madeline Mason said she hasn't decided whether she will ask that the autopsy details be kept from the public, but it is her duty to raise the issue in court. Once a hearing date is set, the county attorney, the district attorney, the Boulder police and the news media will present arguments. Police have said if more crime details are released, it could hurt their probe. Officials said JonBenet died by strangulation and was sexually abused. Related stories:
