LOS ANGELES (CNN) -- O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark, who is writing a book on the criminal trial, said Thursday she is taking on another project -- hosting a reality-based TV show about women in law enforcement.

"LadyLaw," a half-hour show, will focus on female law enforcement officers, lawyers and judges.

Clark announced on Wednesday that she was quitting her job as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. She had been on leave since Simpson's October 1995 acquittal on murder charges.
