NEW YORK, Jan 5 (CNN) -- The wife of Dick Morris, President Clinton's former top political adviser who quit after a sex scandal, has decided to end her marriage, according to both the New York Daily News and Newsweek.
Eileen McGann, married to Morris for 20 years, told the paper she made up her mind when she was in California last week. "I had really hoped and believed that as time went by this would disappear as a public issue and become a private issue between Dick and me, but that didn't turn out to be true. I realized it would never go away," McGann said.
Morris' wife said her world became upended after a tabloid reported last August that her husband had an affair with a $200-an-hour call girl who boasted that Morris let her listen to phone calls with Clinton.
McGann, 48, a lawyer, told the News she felt she had lost her privacy completely when a second scandal broke and she learned that her husband had a daughter by a woman in Texas.
