Grand jury gets case against teens in baby's death

WILMINGTON, Delaware (CNN) -- A grand jury may decide as early as Monday whether to indict two college students charged with killing an infant.

Brian Peterson Jr. and his girlfriend, Amy Grossberg, both 18, are charged with killing the baby whose body was found in a Newark, Delaware, motel trash bin in November.

An autopsy found the boy died of a skull fracture, but investigators don't know if the injury happened before or after the baby was put in the trash.

Authorities said Peterson has admitted to helping deliver the baby and putting it in a trash bin. Grossberg has pleaded innocent to the charges.
