More soldiers accused of harassment in Missouri

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Four more soldiers have been suspended and face courts martial on charges of improper personal relationships with trainees at the U.S. Army's Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, officials said.
The new cases resulted from investigations into trainee abuses that allegedly occurred between May and September. The infractions range from failing to obey a lawful general regulation to indecent assault.
A total of seven soldiers at Fort Leonard Wood have now been charged with such infractions. One noncommissioned officer has already been tried, convicted and sentenced on sex-related charges at the facility. Another seven soldiers were under investigation, officials said.
Fort Leonard Wood officials said the cases came to light through existing policies and procedures, not as a result of the Army's recently established hotline. The new cases were also unrelated to harassment cases at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
