WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A CIA employee forced to resign last month admitted in federal court Thursday to using a government computer to collect child pornography from the Internet. David Miller, 54, said he took a government computer to his home and used it to get child pornography through an online service.
Miller admitted the activity occurred while he worked for the CIA, and was on detail to the super-secret National Reconnaissance Organization which oversees the collection of intelligence by satellites.
Miller also pleaded guilty to financial conflicts of interest relating to his secret work. Miller resigned October 16th when he was faced with immediate dismissal, officials said. Miller could get as much as ten years in prison and $500,000 in fines when he is sentenced January 17.
