GAO report: Post Office on shaky ground

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A new report from the General Accounting Offices says that the U.S. Postal Service is vulnerable to competition from private delivery companies.

The report suggests that relaxing the Postal Service's 200-year monopoly on delivering letters would jeopardize the agency unless it lowers prices and improves services.

Rappers gather to push peace

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Rappers and hip hop pioneers gathered at a Harlem church Sunday to promote peace in the violent world of gangsta rap.

Minister Conrad Muhammad, New York's Nation of Islam leader, called for the rally after the death of rapper Tupac Shakur, who was shot in Las Vegas six days earlier. Muhammad called the event a "day of atonement."
