376,000 infant car seats recalledWASHINGTON (CNN) -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a recall Wednesday of 376,000 infant car seats manufactured by Century Products Company. The company agreed to replace the safety seats after testing them and finding that the buckles on the infant car seat and car seat strollers may release on impact. The seats affected were manufactured between September 12, 1995, and May 13, 1996. The car seat model numbers are 4525, 4535, 4560, 4565, 4575 and 4590. The car seat strollers being recalled are model numbers 11-570, 11-597, 11-600 and 11-650. Anyone who purchased a Century child seat or seat stroller may call 1-800-837-4044 or write Century Products Company, 9600 Valley View Road, Macedonia, Ohio 44056 for a free replacement buckle kit and installation instructions.
