ROCKWALL, Texas (CNN) -- Most hotels have a strict policy about animals -- no pets allowed. But a bed and breakfast inn in Rockwall, Texas, is different. In fact, its policy is just the opposite. (782K QuickTime movie)
Lailia's Pet Bed and Breakfast is the Ritz Carlton for canines. And ever since things went to the dogs last year, business has never been better. For $15 a day, while their owners are on vacation, pampered pets can be, too.
Pooches can relax on the porch, get pampered in the pet spa, or enjoy the privacy of their own suite. Lailia's even has a maid service to feather-dust the doggie digs. Instead of putting a mint on the pillow, the maids leave behind a biscuit.
Lest the felines feel left out, the B&B also caters to cats with its kitty condos.
