WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. Air Force's entire fleet of B-2 Stealth bombers has been grounded since Friday after it was discovered a clamp on the tail pipe of one B-2 was overheating, according to Pentagon sources.
The problem has resulted in canceled appearances at air shows around the country, including most recently this past weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.
A team of engineers from the plane's maker, Northrup-Grumman, is working on how to fix the problem. After all the planes have been inspected and the problem corrected, they will again be cleared to fly.
The bat-wing B-2s are based at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.
Colorado legislator joins Freemen talks

BRUSETT, Montana (CNN) -- A Colorado state legislator said he will go to Montana Wednesday in the hopes of persuading the separatist Freemen to end their 51-day standoff with the FBI.
Sen. Charles Duke, R-Colorado, who has been sympathetic to the so-called patriot and militia movements, was invited by the FBI to be a third-party mediator in ending the standoff.
In the past, Duke has been critical of the FBI and the government charges against the Freemen, calling some of their alleged crimes "victim-less."
Montana lawmaker Karl Ohs returned to meet with the Freemen at their ranch Tuesday. He stayed about 40 minutes, apparently discussing where a meeting between the Freemen and the FBI might be held.
So far, the Freemen have refused to meet directly with the FBI, which they claim has no jurisdiction in Montana.

At least 300,000 customers lost power just after 10 a.m. EDT, according to Drew Vallorano, a spokeswoman for Delmarva Power and Light. Power was restored by 6 p.m.
The blackout stretched from central and southern Delaware to the Eastern shore region of Maryland and Virginia.
Delmarva said the power outage was caused by an equipment problem at a major substation in New Castle county.
Million dollar heist: Couple robbed in hotel
NEW YORK (CNN) -- Two robbers snatched more than $1 million in jewelry and cash from an Israeli couple at the Wentworth Hotel in midtown Manhattan, police said.
The robbers knocked on the couple's room door Monday afternoon and pretended to be hotel employees, police said. When the door was opened, the robbers -- described as two white males -- burst in with guns, handcuffed their victims and took the valuables, police said.
They got away with $975,000 in assorted jewelry and $30,000 in U.S. currency.
The male victim was treated at a hospital after complaining of difficult breathing.
