Web posted at: 1 a.m. EDTA CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll conducted Wednesday indicates that fliers are about evenly split on whether or not the crash of Flight 592 will make them less likely to fly ValuJet. However, the poll clearly shows that fliers are not going to steer away from all discount airlines because of the crash. Fliers said they would continue booking seats on the less-expensive airlines by a ratio of nearly two to one.
Fliers are defined as any adult American who has ever flown on a commercial airline. This represents about 80 percent of the total adult U.S. population.
