Head to Mount Washington
A great place for disabled skiers is Mount Washington in British Columbia. There is an extensive volunteer program in remembrance of Herb Bradley, a man who gave his all to those with needs so they could experience the thrill of skiing. There is also instruction for blind skiers on the nordic trails. The calm, friendly, family atmosphere and great terrain diversity allow for all levels of disabled skiers to find their place on the mountain with other users.

The good folks at Breckenridge
In Breckenridge, Colorado, we have an organization that is dedicated to guiding, teaching, supporting and encouraging handicapped/disabled skiers and outdoor enthusiasts. They are called The BOEC or Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center. Be sure to visit their website or write them e-mail (boec@colorado.net) for more information.
I have the pleasure of being associated with this terrific group of individuals, and we are holding a fundraiser in December 1997 called the Ski Spectacular - as well as our Ski-A-Thon in December. Look us up for more information!

One more reason to go to Vail
The best I know of and have seen is, without doubt, Vail Ski School. Instructions are available for all sorts of disabilities.
