Delta offers special fares to Spain

ATLANTA (CNN) -- Delta Air Lines is inaugurating expanded air service to Spain with special fares between New York City or Atlanta and Barcelona.
Starting June 1, Delta will offer new nonstop flights from Atlanta's Hartsfield International to Barcelona and expand nonstop Barcelona flights from New York's Kennedy Airport into a year-round service.
Special fares from New York to Barcelona will run as low as $248 roundtrip for travel Monday through Thursday and as low as $278 for weekend travel, through May 31, 1999. Tickets must be purchased by April 30.
The Atlanta-Barcelona fares will start at $598 roundtrip for travel between June 1 and July 15, 1999. Tickets must be purchased by March 18.
Other restrictions and surcharges apply, and fares are nonrefundable.
