Asian economic crisis brings trouble to Hawaiian paradise

HONOLULU (CNN) -- There is trouble in paradise. The Asian economy crisis has reduced tourism in Hawaii. Some hotels are hurting, and sales at shopping centers have been down as much as 25 percent. But Hawaiians are not so easily defeated. They are discounting dinner cruises and even offering free ukelele lessons. And cheap airfares are attracting tourists from the mainland United States. CNN Correspondent Anne McDermott reports.
