BOULDER COUNTY, Colorado (CNN) -- I can't ever remember having had the opportunity to do a story like this one, so maybe it's best I just cut to the chase.
I was raised on the East Coast, specifically Arlington, Virginia. The seasons change there. And as a young boy, the season I hated the most was the fall. That's because, for me, all it meant was spending my weekends raking the leaves.
Well, for the past dozen years I've lived in Los Angeles where the seasons hardly change at all. Right now, however, I find myself in Boulder County, Colorado, and I think from here I'll just let the pictures do the talking.
The moral of the story: If you are fortunate enough to live in a state where the seasons change, don't let them pass you by without taking a good look.
