Watch that watch!

(CNN) -- If a business traveler leaves Los Angeles at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday on a six-hour flight, with a one-hour layover in Houston, what time will it be in Phoenix when our intrepid flyer arrives in New York?
As if figuring that out weren't already a mathematical feat from the experts-only section of the SAT, throw in the time change Sunday and watch travelers' internal clocks whirl. In most parts of the United States, the time "springs ahead" one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday. (To complicate the question further, Arizona, Hawaii, the eastern time zone of Indiana, Puerto Rico the U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe daylight savings time.)
Now that that's all settled, here's a real stumper: Where does our groggy traveler pick up the garment bag she checked in Houston?
