A tour of the winery gave some insight into how the wine gets its sparkle.
"These are the grapes that go into making up any true authentic champagne product...," said tour guide Geri Metz. "The pinot noir grape brings to the wine richness and fullness and body and fruit in it. It's the same quality that it gives to the red wine."
