Hold onto your hubcaps, if you dare to drive under the Aurora Bridge. There, in the darkness where the span meets land, lurks the Fremont Troll -- renowned for his fondness of shiny things on cars (Yes, that's a real VW the giant holds in his grasp). Despite such antics, he's quite a friendly fella, really -- two cuddly tons of sculptured concrete commissioned by the Fremont Arts Council to keep the area from becoming a dump.
