the 'other' brew
Seattle-ites cannot live by coffee alone -- they also need their microbrew. And Fremont has an abundance of it. In fact, the town claims that exploratory drilling has yielded the world's largest underground beer rivers. That may be stretching the truth just a teeny bit -- but don't waste your time arguing details, for there's plenty of fine beer to be tasted. Fremont's "Golden Triangle" is anchored by the Red Hook Brewery and Pub (tours are only a buck, beer samples included), Hale's Brewery and Pub (on Leary Way, West of town) and Dad Watson's Brewpub (on Fremont Avenue).
