RV

In the track's infield -- between the turns and straightaways, behind the pits -- the noise and smell converge to create the total racing experience. I've seen fans on lawn chairs on the top of RVs, televisions tuned to keep up with the action.

It's the ultimate road trip -- a rolling experience to be up close and personal with the ultimate road vehicle.

To follow the races is to follow America across ribbons of asphalt, with a weekly stop to see who is fastest at traditional tracks like Darlington and Rockingham, North Carolina, or newer ones in places you'd never have expected them in the past.
