The Lion King
This vantage better showcases Graceland's underlying grandeur. The building, constructed of native Southern limestone in the Georgian colonial fashion, features commanding Corinthian columns. A lion and white wrought iron bench on either side of the front portico frame what Elvis Presley Enterprises has dubbed "the most famous home in America after the White House." Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, Graceland draws more than 700,000 visitors annually.
