The Andes

June kicks off peak ski season in Argentina. While skiing is not as popular in Argentina as it is in the United States, Canada or Europe, resorts are expanding and improving in hopes of luring more skiers from abroad. Ski season on the slopes of the Andes lasts through October, just in time to get your skis waxed and hit the slopes again up in the Northern Hemisphere.
