Wrigleyville: Graceland Cemetery
Some of the city's best architecture is found at the northern edge of Wrigleyville at Graceland Cemetery. The entrance is located at Clark and Irving Park Road.
The father of the Chicago school of architecture, Louis Sullivan, designed several tombs at Graceland and is buried there. Other notables include railroad magnate George Pullman and Marshall Field.
A brick wall that separates Graceland's 121 acres from Clark Street replaces storefronts on this part of the tour. About a mile north, shops appear again in the Andersonville neighborhood.
