PIERS MORGAN, HOST: I'm Piers Morgan.

And, tonight, you're invited to the wedding of the century.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PRINCE WILLIAM OF WALES: I, William Arthur Philip Louis --

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: Prince William and his bride, Kate Middleton say, "I do."

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

PRINCE WILLIAM: With this ring, I thee wed.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: I'm here in London with every must-see moment, from the first glimpse of the bride and groom -- to happily ever after.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: It was a great, big, juicy smacker.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: We got the A-list guests.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: Sir Elton John with David Furnish, his partner.

A very stylish Mrs. Beckham, I notice.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: To join you together --

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: The ceremony.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I pronounce that they be man and wife together.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: The spectacle.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: It's amazing. There are lots of wonderful occasions around the world, but there is nothing quite like this.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: And the celebration.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: Widespread jubilation, not just here but we have been seeing scenes all over the world.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

MORGAN: Every bit of it unforgettable and it starts right now.

This is a special edition of PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT, the royal wedding.

(MUSIC)

MORGAN: Good evening. And welcome to the royal wedding. Tonight, you'll see history in the making. All of the highlights of William and Kate's big day exactly as it happened. I'm joined by Anderson Cooper and Cat Deeley and we begin at Westminster Abbey where a glittering array of VIPs are already arriving.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

CAT DEELEY, CNN CONTRIBUTOR: What a great day.

MORGAN: What a wonderful day to be British, don't you think, Anderson?

ANDERSON COOPER, CNN ANCHOR: It's a good day to be a commoner, too, I think.

MORGAN: I mean, the most incredible thing has happen. We've reached the day of the wedding and it's the most speculated about wedding in history and we still don't know who's made this dress.

DEELEY: We don't.

MORGAN: Quite amazing.

DEELEY: The rumor is Sarah Burton from Alexander McQueen, there's also Jenny Packham, she came up recently and so did Stella McCartney.

COOPER: Do you think that's going to be the moment or at least one of the key moments?

MORGAN: Two moments, the moment she gets out of the car and reveals the dress, and in that moment, after the fly-by, when the RAF shoots past, and the big kiss happens. That's when we'll able to go, ah.

So, it's a bittersweet for a lot of the guests. William, I'm sure, will have feelings about his mother. We know from the order of service, a lot of Diana theme through here, a lot of music relates back to Charles and Diana's wedding. Even though the opening hymn that you'll hear is actually one that was played at the end of Diana's funeral at the abbey.

So, a lot of attempt here, I think, to bring Diana into the wedding, and also have continuity with Charles and Camilla's wedding, with Charles and Diana's wedding. And I think that's a very nice family thing that they come to some arrangement over.

COOPER: Interesting, though, that they chose to have the wedding at Westminster Abbey rather than St. Paul's. St. Paul's is actually much larger venue. It can seat I think up to 3,500 people. I think it says something about who Prince William is, that they want -- and Kate, that they wanted it --

DEELEY: It's the intimacy I think that's so nice. It's on a world stage and it's going to be watched, you know, by so many people. It retains that level of intimacy then I think if it's a small church.

MORGAN: Also, William is not flash, you know? That's the thing I would say about him. Some of the royals have been over the years, accused of being quite vulgar.

DEELEY: Who, Piers? Come on.

MORGAN: We all know who we're talking about. But I think the great thing about this wedding is it's a meeting of pomp and pageantry. And also, a couple of people -- you know, she is a commoner, as we say, which means she's basically from ordinary stuff.

COOPER: Do people still use that term here?

MORGAN: Yes.

COOPER: Really?

DEELEY: I don't like it very much.

COOPER: I don't like it at all.

MORGAN: (INAUDIBLE) probably sounds un-American.

COOPER: Every American is a commoner. So --

(LAUGHTER)

MORGAN: All commoner means is you haven't been born into blue blood. You're not part of the establishment, if you like. You're not a member of the royal family or extended family. You're not someone being born with a silver spoon and privilege.

So, to a Brit, having Kate Middleton come through as one of them, she comes from a similar background of many of the people watching -- she's one of us, she is very much as Diana was, the people's princess. She's the people's duchess.

COOPER: So, let's listen to the band as they are coming by our location and coming to Buckingham Palace. Let's just listen in.

(BAND PLAYING)

MORGAN: Important to remember with these guys, they're not just ceremonial soldiers. These people have been to battle. They've been in Afghanistan and Iraq. And these are proper fighting soldiers you see marching around here. So, you'll see them all day long in various forms. And these are proper heroes.

COOPER: The guests are arriving. We just saw David Beckham arriving.

MORGAN: Very stylish Mrs. Beckham, I notice. She's wearing one of her own outfit. He's wearing his medal. He's either OBE or MBE. It's his medal from the queen. So, very proudly marching down with his medal there.

Two billion pairs of eyes, big ka-ching moment for Victoria Beckman. They are very stylish. They are the kind of sporting royalty I think in Britain. And Becks looks good there.

COOPER: This is the Royal Air Force Band. Let's just listen in to them.

(BAND PLAYING)

DEELEY: But I want to know, what do you think will be going through Kate's head right about now? She's there at the Goring Hotel. She knows she's going to be watched by millions. What do brides worry about?

MORGAN: Don't fall over.

think she's thinking?

(CROSSTALK)

HAYWOOD: Don't say that. I think that's the thing you have nightmares about before your weddings. I get people calling me and saying, this dream that nobody came to my wedding or I had a dream I fell over in the altar.

MORGAN: She's been having these recurring nightmares, that she was at the altar naked, yes, at Westminster Abbey apparently.

DEELEY: That would have been you.

MORGAN: I can relate to that, that kind of strip bare and the whole world watching.

DEELEY: What a terrible though, Piers, a terrible thought.

COOPER: She really is prepared in a way that, say, Princess Diana was not prepared. She's more mature.

MORGAN: She's had seven years to think about all this. She also split up from Prince William for a while where she thought maybe it was never going to happen. And the fact they've got back together, I think she's really given this a lot of thought.

Diana had no time to prepare for this and was way too young. And even though she enjoyed the whole fairytale wedding, after it was a bit of a nightmare.

I think this couple have been incredibly sensible.

What I like about the service, having seen the whole order of service, it's absolutely British. It's all well Scottish, Irish, English, and choices of hymns, pieces of music, the composers they've selected.

COOPER: And there is no kissing.

(CROSSTALK)

DEELEY: Until the balcony.

COOPER: And they're not kissing in Westminster Abbey.

MORGAN: Things have to be done properly here.

COOPER: According to protocol, it's not just done, no --

MORGAN: You have to wait for the balcony scene for the kissing.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There are different styles of kisses could be. It could be on the hand, could be on the cheek. But we want a big old sweet smooch is what we want.

MORGAN: There's Sir Elton John.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Oh, Elton.

MORGAN: With David Furnish, his partner, who arrived, looking, I must say, remarkably traditional.

Of course, he was who performed "Candle in the Wind" in the abbey at Diana's funeral. I suspect he hasn't been back to the abbey since. So, last time, he went would have been a very, very sad occasion. Elton was in tears as he performed that song. So, I think it's a very bittersweet moment for him because he was a very close friend of Diana's.

But Diana would have loved this. The great tragedy is that this was right up Diana's street. She loved parties. She loved the ceremony and everything that went with it.

DEELEY: And above everything else, she loved her boys above everything else.

MORGAN: She would be bursting with pride about Williams.

COOPER: She used to call young William, DDG, Drop Dead Gorgeous. You've just seen some celebrities. Sir -- it is Sir Elton John.

MORGAN: Sir Elton John and David Beckham OBE, wearing his medal with pride.

COOPER: And Victoria Beckham from behind.

DEELEY: Tomkinson and (INAUDIBLE)

MORGAN: And also, I mean, we haven't discussed yet the tiara and the headdress she'll be wearing. It's all these things. I mean, it's not just about the dress. And, you know, we are hearing all sorts of rumors. If it is the famous King George III tiara, this is the one that queen and the queen mother wore on their wedding day.

It's a really anointment of this young woman as a future queen. And that is significant for this country. It's the first wedding we have had since Diana and Charles in 1981, 30 years ago where you actually see somebody who may be queen.

COOPER: We're seeing the current prime minister, David Cameron, and his wife, leaving 10 Downing Street.

MORGAN: He's wearing a morning suit. Big controversy over this, originally Downing Street leaked that he would be doing what you're doing, Anderson, making a fashion faux pas and wearing a lounge suit. But he listened to the media mob and I think listened on to what I was wearing and has turned out in a morning suit.

There is Nick Clegg, who is the deputy prime minister. And he's turned up with his very elegant Spanish wife Miriam. She's wearing a very exotic headdress there.

CAT DEELEY, CNN WEDDING CONTRIBUTOR: I think that's Steven Jones.

MORGAN: No, that's Nick Clegg.

DEELEY: The hat. No, the hat.

MORGAN: Who the hell is Steve Jones? I got this horribly wrong? Did I misidentify my own deputy prime minister? The hat is Steven Jones. What you're seeing now is a senior British political figures -- that's Foreign Secretary William Hague, his wife had some kind of accident. But she's not normally in a wheelchair.

DEELEY: She looks beautiful.

COOPER: This is the prime minister arriving, yes?

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

MORGAN: So, the excitement is mounting down there. And, in any moment, I think we'll be seeing the bridegroom and all his glory and best man.

I also solve the mystery of why the foreign secretary of Great Britain's wife was s in a wheelchair. She fell over this evening, the foreign secretary's (INAUDIBLE) home, which you get if you become foreign secretary, last Friday, and she broke her shin somewhere, but she was determined, the show must go on. So, she bravely and valiantly came to the wedding.

COOPER: Stay calm and carry on. Very British.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: When we come back, the groom and best man, Prince William and Prince Harry, arrive at Westminster Abbey together.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: You're watching PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT, the royal wedding from London.

Seeing William and Harry on the special day, I'm reminded, as so many other will be, of their mother, Princess Diana. I knew her. I watched the young princes grow up and I know they are both thinking of her on this special day.

Let's watch as the groom and best man travel to Westminster.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think this is just what this country needs.

MORGAN: This is electrifying.

Diana's funeral and the queen mother's funeral were sad occasions. We certainly would have heard any scenes like this. And I think Diana's funeral, Diana's wedding was like this, but I think this is bigger.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, and I think for people of my generation and younger, here the monarchy was feeling a little bit tired, feeling a little bit stuffy, perhaps, and I think this just breathes a whole new life into it again.

MORGAN: You see the blue sash that William has over his red uniform and that is the Knights of the Order of the Garter, we were talking about earlier in relation it to John Major and Margaret Thatcher. It's a very, very prestigious honor.

Hope Harry has remembered the ring.

(LAUGHTER)

DEELEY: It depends if he went to bed last night.

MORGAN: Cat, are you surprised that only -- there's only going to be one ring, that William is not going to wear a ring?

DEELEY: Yes, I was actually. It's going to be made from the Welsh gold nugget, isn't it, that all the other rings have been made from. And I think the big thing, the biggest sign of all, is her wearing Diana's engagement ring, you know? I think it's -- I think it's a really great way --

MORGAN: I think William is going to wear a ring actually.

DEELEY: You do?

MORGAN: I do. His father wore one from the same tiny Welsh mine where this gold comes from and he wore one when he married Camilla. It's all from the same gold.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: William actually gave Kate a ring last night apparently with his crest on it.

MORGAN: This crowd noise is unbelievable.

COOPER: Let's listen in again.

(CHEERING)

MORGAN: This is the moment that the British monarchy has been completely re-energized. After Diana died, there was a sense of debate in this country and around the world -- do we need a monarchy anymore? The great shining light had gone.

And for a long time, they've been in the doldrums, but this is the moment today when you can see with these extraordinary scenes, there must be millions here, all going completely crazy.

This is the moment I'm looking at it and saying -- the monarchy is back.

These two are now the biggest stars on the planet, because I don't remember these scenes when Brad married Angelina, this is it.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You forget Hollywood. Today, the biggest red carpet is here in London. COOPER: There really is the sense that these two have been raised differently than previous generations of royals and they're more connected in a way than other generations.

MORGAN: It's his father. You know, let's not forget Prince Charles, he always gets a negative wrap. They're about to arrive.

(CHEERS AND APPLAUSE)

MORGAN: What I like about this, Anderson, the last time those boys will have been into the abbey in any formal sense was for their mother's funeral when we will remember them having to walk behind her coffin, very young teenage boys. You know, terrible ordeal for them. And to have this amazingly happy occasion, I think is just a wonderful thing to watch.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Those images of them walking behind the coffin, are definitely engrained in our brains and I think you're right, Piers. I think we have to turn around and look at what a fantastic job Prince Charles actually did. You know, they were teenagers at the time when they lost their mother and although she kind of set up the infrastructure, it was Charles that actually, you know, led them through the, you know, the terrible teenage years where you're just awful.

MORGAN: You were saying, you can't beat a man in a uniform, can you?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No.

MORGAN: Eat your heart out, Hollywood. You haven't got heartthrobs like these two.

DEELEY: These are the heartthrobs of the nation right now.

MORGAN: Biggest stars in the world right now.

DEELEY: Yes.

(END VIDEOTAPE0

MORGAN: When we come back, the Middletons arrive at the abbey.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: I'm Piers Morgan in London. And you're watching the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Now, we go back to Westminster Abbey where Carole Middleton, the bride's mother, is arriving.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(BELLS PEALING)

COOPER: William has talked about the close relationship that the Middleton family has and how he has really enjoyed -- in fact, he's spent a lot of time with the Middletons.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I mean, you have to remember that they are a really normal family. They are still together. They are still together and that's where Kate comes from. I think that's where she gets her grounding from. And I think that's --

COOPER: And Diana's family, I knew Diana's mother very well, and she was, you know, an alcoholic, towards the end of her life and was very erratic and dysfunctional family for all of them. And so, I think William saw what happened there.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: He revels in --

MORGAN: William likes normality. And this Middleton family seemed grounded, normal, hard working. They made their own money. You know, I think he's learned lessons here choosing a bride you're not going to have problems down the line.

A lot of people admire them for that. Credit their own business, made a lot of money, self-made people, and they haven't just been handed things on a plate in their life. And, again, the difference between that and Diana, who came from a wealthy, establishment kind of family, never had to really work any of them, just handed stuff on a plate, blue blood stock, doesn't always work.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: Coming up, the arrival of the royal family at the abbey.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: This is "PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT," "The Royal Wedding from London."

Let's go back to Westminster Abbey where the big moment is getting closer and members of the royal family are arriving.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: These are huge crowds, I mean, this is London at a standstill. They shut all the roads for several miles around. You're talking millions of people here.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: This is Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. They're wearing Philip Tracy hats there.

MORGAN: Obviously, their mother, Sarah Ferguson, duchess of York, not invited.

ANDERSON COOPER, CNN ANCHOR: Prince Andrew, the duke of York leading the way.

MORGAN: They look great, the girls.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I love the colors they've picked.

MORGAN: They're really fun for nice, young ladies.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Very dramatic outfits from them, too.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Actually, you know, the two girls have been making a fashion splash recently. Their outfits every time get better and better. Here is --

MORGAN: Her majesty, the queen, right behind us. Nearest Anderson Cooper has ever come to the queen and the crowd going absolutely wild here.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And she's wearing yellow so if you place bets with the bookies, pale blue or pink. It's yellow.

COOPER: I must say it is very exciting to see them in person.

MORGAN: The queen. You should be bowing, Anderson.

COOPER: It's cool.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Smiling.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Your an honorary Brit today.

MORGAN: Probably the most respected public figure in the world, her majesty, the queen, 60-year reign. One of the great reigns in the history of the monarchy.

COOPER: I spent most of my life trying to escape from this sort of thing. So I'm happy this is the closest I'll get. I don't need to get any closer.

MORGAN: Prince Philip, who so far today hasn't made any gaffes at all. Admittedly, we've only seen him for a minute. There's still time.

COOPER: We're seeing multiple cars moving now. Prince Charles on the way with his wife Camilla. Also now the queen and duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, Camilla with Prince Charles.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Here are the bridesmaids.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: They look beautiful, Ashley, of Princess Diana's bridesmaids.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yellow sashes.

MORGAN: Adorable little floral headdresses around their heads. Rows of flowers.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Was it William or Harry who sat once in the abbey and stuck their tongue out at people?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It was William.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It was William. MORGAN: William did that, yes.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: When we come back, a very exciting moment. The queen makes her arrival.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

TOM FOREMAN, CNN ANCHOR: We'll go back to Piers Morgan in a minute, but first this 360 bulletin. Across six southern states, emergency responders are assessing damage from the deadly pack of storms and tornadoes that killed more than 300 people and leveled entire neighborhoods.

Tonight, 800,000 homes are still without power. Hardest hit, of course, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where 45 people are confirmed dead. President Obama toured the damage there today and met with survivors.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA: I've got to say, I have never seen devastation like this. It is heartbreaking. We were just talking to some residents here who were lucky enough to escape alive but have lost everything.

They mentioned that their neighbors had lost two of their grandchildren in the process. What you're seeing here is the consequence of just a few minutes of this extraordinarily powerful storm sweeping through this community.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

FOREMAN: The president promised to expedite federal aid to all states affected by the storms.

NASA scrubbed the shuttle launch that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords traveled to Florida to see. A problem with the heating system delayed it by at least three days. Gifford's husband Mark Kelly is the commander. The first family was at the launch site. President Obama met the "Endeavour" crew and also visited with Giffords for about 10 minutes.

And a storybook royal wedding in London. Prince William and Kate Middleton emerged from Westminster Abbey as the duke and duchess of Cambridge.

I'm Tom Foreman. Coming up on "AC 360" at 10 Eastern, a full wrap-up plus the hidden moments that many missed. More Piers Morgan after this quick break.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: I'm Piers Morgan in London. You're watching the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Now, the queen and Prince Philip were married at Westminster Abbey in 1947. They are about to arrive for their grandson William's wedding there.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: You see the car waiting at the Goring Hotel for the bride, Kate Middleton, any second now, the greatest mystery in the history of royal weddings will finally unravel as we see the dress that has been the subject of probably a million rain forests of speculation in the last few weeks, very exciting moment.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Or we have to wait until she get to the abbey.

MORGAN: We may.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There might be even a few more moments to wait.

COOPER: The queen arrived. We're still now awaiting the departure of Kate Middleton. Look at that overhead shot. You get a sense of how many people have come out.

MORGAN: Also quite remarkable moment there. We saw Camilla Parker Bowles curtsying to the queen in Westminster Abbey. That would have been utterly unthinkable a decade ago. Shows you how far the royal family have come in healing some wounds.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: Just seconds away now from the moment we have been all waiting for -- the first glimpse of the dress.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: We're back with PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT, The Royal Wedding." Now the moment the fashionistas around the world have been waiting for. You're about to get your first glimpse of the dress.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. That's her, but we didn't see.

MORGAN: Is it her or -- that is her.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Definitely her.

MORGAN: Look at the train on that. That is a big train. We may be heading to Meringue 2, Anderson.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Very slim fitting look.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: They're not having to shove it.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It's all about that neckline with Kate, the V-neck she loves. She loves to show her collar bones.

MORGAN: She looks utterly radiant, I have to say. UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The lace detail and the arms. It looks breathtaking.

MORGAN: By the way, what a moment for father and daughter. I mean imagine.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Smiling.

MORGAN: There's Mr. Middleton, who never imagined in his wildest dreams his daughter would marry the future king of England. Just a regular guy, you know, amazing moment.

COOPER: The woman in the front is a Scotland Yard detective who's riding along.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You can see better now.

COOPER: The vehicle they're travelling with is the Rolls Royce, that's part of the royal family collection of vehicles. It's actually the same vehicle that Charles and Camilla were riding in that was attacked a short time ago.

MORGAN: This is real Kate Middleton mania you're seeing here.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She's three times more popular than William on the internet here in Great Britain.

MORGAN: I'm hearing for most saying it's a similar kind of dress to Grace Kelly when she got married to the Prince of Monaco. Very sleek stylish, elegant.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: She also had to cover her arms as well in the abbey. That's lace.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Lace overlay over the top.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And she always goes for that V-neck. That's her trademark.

MORGAN: Signature style.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Because she loves to show that part. But what's interesting, when Diana got out of her car to marry Charles, her dress was all kind of creased because they hadn't anticipated how long it would take.

COOPER: She came in a carriage, the glass carriage as they call it, and actually had a problem it was so long.

MORGAN: Is there a tiara?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. There is a tiara there.

MORGAN: Is that the George III tiara -- UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don't think that is. I didn't think that is because the George III French tiara was very simple.

MORGAN: She has a tiara and she's in a dress. We're getting closer here.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: And I'm sure it's not a 25-foot train like Diana's. I'm sure. It's maybe 10.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I don't know. Her father was having to rearrange his position to get --

MORGAN: What do you imagine what they are saying to each other in the back of the car? Imagine what the father says to the daughter at this moment in these circumstances.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Also the other thing is, imagine how emotional she's feeling too and she knows that she's got to get out of the car and speak and say the vows.

COOPER: Let's listen in as she approaches Westminster Abbey.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: That's Kate's sister, Pippa there looking absolutely exquisite.

MORGAN: Ever seen more adorable bridesmaids and pageboys. Look at the uniforms!

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I want to put them in my bag.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: They're so cute.

MORGAN: One of them is the son of Tiggy, who is a great former nanny of William and Harry.

COOPER: The boy on the right with the blonde hair is her son.

MORGAN: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Pippa looks exquisite too, by the way.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: With those -- with Pippa and Kate, they both love those necklines again, always just going for that V.

MORGAN: Another one is William Lowther-Pinkerton, the son of William's closest confidant.

COOPER: They're getting closer to Westminster Abbey. They're just going through the horse guard arch.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There was talk earlier in the week of her maybe having flowers. She's definitely got the tiara.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think she was always going to go with tradition of the tiara like with the ring, engagement ring. Everything is setting a tone with tradition. MORGAN: She looks sensational.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes, she looks beautiful.

MORGAN: I mean, I haven't seen the whole thing yet. This is going to be -- just approaching the abbey now. She must be very, very nervous.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I'm wondering what they're talking about in the car now.

MORGAN: Imagine, her dad's probably saying just try to keep calm and keep waving.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Keep calm and carry on.

COOPER: We're told the bride's bouquet contains a sprig of myrtle from the bush from the original myrtle in Queen Victoria's wedding bouquet.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Sarah Burton or Alexander McQueen.

MORGAN: The mystery is over. It's Sarah Burton.

COOPER: Let's listen to how the crowd reacts.

MORGAN: Beautiful dress.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: Coming up, the wedding of the century as Prince William and Kate Middleton say "I do."

MORGAN (voice-over): I'm Piers Morgan. Tonight you are invited to the wedding of the century as Prince William and his bride Kate Middleton say "I do." I'm here in London with every must see moment from the first glimpse of the bride and groom to happily ever after.

It was a great big juicy smacker. The ceremony.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I pronounce that they be man and wife together.

MORGAN: The spectacle. There are lots of wonderful occasions around the world, but there is nothing like this. And the celebration - widespread jubilation not just here, but we've been seeing things all over the world. Every bit of it, unforgettable and it starts right now.

This is a special edition of PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT, "The Royal Wedding."

(MUSIC) MORGAN: Good evening and welcome to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. In the next hour, you'll see all the most important moments from the ceremony itself to the happy ever after.

We begin with Kate's arrival at Westminster and the world's most highly anticipated glimpse of that dress.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(CHEERS)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

MORGAN: The mystery is over. It's Sarah Burton.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: So good.

ANDERSON COOPER, CNN ANCHOR: Let's listen to how the crowd reacts to the dress.

MORGAN: Beautiful dress.

(CHEERS)

(MUSIC)

MORGAN: Now inside Westminster Abbey, you can hear the first hymn. The first hymn, "Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer" -- the significance of this, I think it's the last hymn of Princess Diana's funeral in the abbey in 1997. It's a very famous Welsh rugby anthem. It's called "Bread of Heaven." And William is a big rugby fan and he would have chosen this for a number of reasons.

(MUSIC)

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: We'll take a short break now. And when we come back, those all-important vows.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I, William Arthur Philip Louis --

PRINCE WILLIAM: I, William Arthur Phillip Louis --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: -- take thee Catherine Elizabeth --

PRINCE WILLIAM: -- take thee Catherine Elizabeth --

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: -- to be my wedded wife --

PRINCE WILLIAM: -- to be my wedded wife --

(END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: Welcome back to PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT, the royal wedding from London.

We have now come to the moment where William and Kate become husband and wife. Let's listen to their vows.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

REV. DR. JOHN HALL, DEAN OF WESTMINSTER: We are gathered here in the sight of God, and in the face of this congregation, to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony, which is an honorable estate, instituted of God himself, signifying unto us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ and his church; which holy estate Christ adorned and beautified with his presence and first miracle that he wrought in Canaan of Galilee and is commended in holy writ to be honorable among all men. And, therefore, is not by any to be enterprised or taken in hand unadvisedly, lightly, or wantonally, but, reverently, discreetly, soberly and in the fear of God, duly considering the causes for which matrimony was ordained.

First, it was ordained for the increase of mankind according to the will of God, and that children might be brought up in the fear and nurture of the Lord and to the praise of his holy name.

Secondly, it was ordained in order that the natural instincts and affections implanted by God, should be hallowed and directed aright; that those who are called of God to this holy estate, should continue therein in pureness of living.

Thirdly, it was ordained for the mutual society, help and comfort, that the one ought to have of the other, both in prosperity and adversity. Into which holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. Therefore, if any man can show any just cause why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter, forever hold his peace.

MORGAN: That was Dr. John Hall, the dean of Westminster. Now, we have the archbishop of Canterbury.

DR. ROWAN WILLIAMS, ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY: -- that if either of you know any impediment why you may not be lawfully joined together in matrimony, you do now confess it. For be well assured that so many as are coupled together otherwise than God's word doth allow, are not joined together by God; neither is their matrimony lawful.

William Arthur Philip Louis, wilt thou have this woman to thy wedded wife, to live together according to God's law in the holy estate of matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honor and keep her in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her so long as ye both shall live?

PRINCE WILLIAM OF WALES: I will.

WILLIAMS: Catherine Elizabeth, wilt thou have this man to thy wedded husband, to live together according to God's law in the holy estate of matrimony, wilt thou love him comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, and forsaking all other, keep thee only unto him so long as ye both shall live?

KATE MIDDLETON: I will.

(CHEERS)

WILLIAMS: Bless, o Lord, this ring and grant that he who gives it and she who shall wear it may remain faithful to each other and abide in thy peace and favor and live together in love until their lives end, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

WILLIAMS: With this ring, I thee wed.

PRINCE WILLIAM: With this ring, I thee wed.

WILLIAMS: With my body, I thee honor.

PRINCE WILLIAM: With my body, I thee honor.

WILLIAMS: And all my worldly goods, with thee I share.

PRINCE WILLIAM: And with all my worldly goods, with thee I share.

PRINCE WILLIAM: And of the Son.

PRINCE WILLIAM: And of the Holy Ghost.

WILLIAMS: Amen.

PRINCE WILLIAM: Amen.

WILLIAMS: Let us pray.

Eternal God, creator and preserver of all mankind, giver of all spiritual grace, the author of everlasting life, send thy blessing upon these, thy servants, this man and woman, whom we bless in thy name, that living faithfully together, they may surely perform and keep the vow and covenant betwixt them made, whereof this ring given and received is a token and pledge, may ever remain in perfect love and peace, together, and live according to thy laws, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

CROWD: Amen.

WILLIAMS: Those whom God has joined together, let no man put asunder.

For as much as William and Catherine have consented together in holy wedlock and have witnessed the same before God and this company, and thereto have given and pledged their troth either to other and have declared the same by giving and receiving of a ring and by joining of hands, I pronounce that they be man and wife together in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, amen.

CROWD: Amen.

WILLIAMS: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, bless, preserve, and keep you, the Lord mercifully with his favor look upon you and so fill you with all spiritual benediction and grace, that you may so live together in this life, that in the world to come, ye may have life everlasting. Amen.

CROWD: Amen.

(MUSIC)

MORGAN: And that's it. Prince William and Kate Middleton are formally married. They have become duke and duchess of Cambridge in what has been an extraordinary day of celebration for Britain and for the rest of the world. They are now singing a hymn that was a tribute to Charles and Camilla. It was played at Charles and Camilla's wedding in 2005 at St. George's Chapel. Another great tubthumping British hymn. Enjoy this.

(MUSIC)

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: And there's much more of the wedding ceremony to come. So, stay with us.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: I'm Piers Morgan in London. Welcome back to the royal wedding.

We now go back to Westminster Abbey for a reading by the bride's brother.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JAMES MIDDLETON, KATE MIDDLETON'S BROTHER: I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable, and perfect.

Let love be genuine. Hate what is evil. Hold fast to what is good. Love one another with mutual affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord, rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering persevere in prayer, contribute to the needs of the saints, extend hospitality to strangers. Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice. Weep with those who weep.

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly.

Do not claim to be wiser than you are. Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

MORGAN: And now we'll hear an address by the right reverend -- right Honorable Dr. Richard Chartres, who is the Lord Bishop of London.

DR. RICHARD CHARTRES, LORD BISHOP OF LONDON: Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire. So said Saint Catherine of Siena whose festival day it is today. Marriage is intended to be a way in which man and woman help each other to become what God meant each one to be. Their deepest and their truest selves. Many people are fearful at the prospects for our world, but the message of the celebrations in this country and far beyond its shores is the right one. This is a joyful day. It is good that people in every continent are able to share in these celebrations. Because this is, as every wedding day should be, a day of hope.

In a sense, every wedding is a royal wedding, with the bride and the groom as king and queen of creation, making a new life together, so that life can flow through them into the future.

You have both made your decision today.

I will. And by making this new relationship, you've aligned yourselves with what we believe is the way in which life is spiritually evolving, and which will lead to a creative future for the human race.

I pray that all of us present and the many millions watching this ceremony and sharing in your joy today, will do everything in our power to support and uphold you in your new life.

And I pray that God will bless you in the way of life that you have chosen. That way which is expressed in the prayer that you have composed together in preparation for this day.

"God, our father, we thank you for our families, for the love that we share, and for the joy of our marriage. In the busyness of each day, keep our eyes fixed on what is real and important in life, and help us to be generous with our time and love and energy. Strengthened by our union, help us to serve and comfort those who suffer.

"We ask this in the spirit of Jesus Christ, and we all say amen."

ASSEMBLY: Amen.

MORGAN: Inspiring words there from the Bishop of London. Other inspiring words we're hearing were that Prince William apparently said to his bride as she arrived at the altar, "You look beautiful."

We're going to hear the Motet, which is a very an interesting story. A young man called Paul Mealor, who wrote this and the special couple heard it up at St. Andrews and said we want this at our wedding. And he's a completely unknown composer until now. This will change his life forever.

(SINGING -- THE MOTET "UBI CARITAS")

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: When we come back, a blessing and a moment that will bring tears to the eyes of any Englishman.

(SINGING -- THE MOTET "UBI CARITAS") (END VIDEO CLIP)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: Back now with PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT: The Royal Wedding from London. Now the blessing of the newly married royal couple.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

CHARTRES: Let us pray. Almighty Lord and everlasting God, vouchsafe we beseech thee to direct, sanctify, and govern both our hearts and bodies, in the ways of thy laws and in the works of thy commandments, that through thy most mighty protection, both here and ever. We may be preserved in body and soul, through our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

ASSEMBLY: Amen.

CHARTRES: The blessing of God almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, be amongst you and remain with you always.

(SINGING) Amen.

MORGAN: And now the moment that is going to absolutely raise the roof all over Britain, the national anthem. Prepare for this.

(SINGING -- "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN")

MORGAN: And if that doesn't make you proud to be British, then nothing will. Amazing scenes behind this at Buckingham Palace here as the whole crowd joined in with the national anthem. We're going to have the bride and bridegroom and their witnesses moving to the shrine of St. Edward the confessor for the signing of the marriage registers.

MORGAN: When we return, the streets of London erupt in wild celebrations as the newly married couple emerge from the Abbey.

(NEWS BREAK)

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: Back now from London with the moment the crowds have all been waiting for, the happy couple emerge from Westminster Abbey to greet the ecstatic members of the public. Let's watch.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: It's been an incredible day, I think. CAT DEELEY, CNN WEDDING CONTRIBUTOR: The roar of the crowd.

MORGAN: What a service, perfectly pitched. Kate Middleton, all the pressure, hasn't put her a foot wrong, even got William's name right, unlike Diana.

DEELEY: It's true.

MORGAN: I'm incredibly impressed by her.

DEELEY: She had such poise.

MORGAN: This is -- you can sum up the whole day. The monarchy is back, the British monarchy. The battered British monarchy which has been on the ropes the last, 10, 15 years, suddenly we're seeing now with this occasion widespread jubilation not just here, but seeing scenes all over the world, people watching this, two billion people joining in the celebration. It's quite amazing.

After Diana died, a lot of people in Britain felt like the bright light of the royal family had gone, that we had lost our superstar, if you like, in Diana. As I watch these scenes, I mean, there's no doubt we have got a new superstar in Kate Middleton.

This is her life, never going to be the same. This is a day that is going to propel her into the stratosphere of celebrity status and media attention. What I like about the whole thing we've seen from her today, the way she has held herself together, the way she's kept her poise.

This really, I think, augers well for her future as a potential queen. Because you have to be able to handle this stuff.

And the sun has come out. I mean, this is -- I cannot tell you how rare this is, to be in April, and have a whole week of sunshine. It's unparalleled.

So the Gods have blessed on this too, which is an amazing thing.

To me, I mean, there are lots of wonderful occasions around the world, but there is nothing quite like this. When you watch the Household Cavalry escorting this gold, very old carriage up to Buckingham Palace, where you see the Guards all waiting, the Guards, you troupe -- the color, of course, looking utterly magnificent, with the throngs of millions of people.

(CROSS TALK)

MORGAN: And this is just about as big as any occasion can get. I mean, that just gives you goose bumps. I feel quite emotional watching this. I really do.

I actually feel emotional. I mean, watching that scene as they came up here, and watching this huge crowd, just completely dulaley (ph) -- I thought it was just wonderful, wonderful.

I think they've just shown everyone today what the future of the monarchy will look like.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: Coming up, the perfect way to sum up the day, the royal couple's double kiss.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

MORGAN: A quite amazing sight from the people massing outside Buckingham Palace, waiting to see the newly married William and Kate.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: Breaking news, a curtain is twitching on the balcony. So we are about to go.

Listen to the crowd when they come out.

(CHEERS)

DEELEY: That wasn't enough for me.

MORGAN: It was a great big juicy smacker.

DEELEY: No, it wasn't!

MORGAN: Good on you, Will. That was much, much better than Andrew and Fergie's. And I was say it was longer and more passionate than Charles and Diana's.

That was a great kiss. Those two love each other.

I can't believe he did that. That boy does his own thing. He would have been told one kiss and that's enough. And he's gone back for more.

DEELEY: It was really cute, because he was talking and he kind of egged her on. He was like, come on, then, let's give them one more.

MORGAN: If I was still the editor of a major British newspaper, my headline would be "Get a Room." It won't be. They can't take their eyes of each other.

That was just a wonderful moment, wasn't it? With the RAF doing the fly-by at the same time. It is reminding us that William is a member of the armed forces. He flies helicopters. Harry has been to war in Afghanistan.

These boys are proper heroes.

I think it's great. That single moment there will be what flashes around the world. And it just shows William is his own guy. The palace would have said do this, do that, do this. Everything would be done at the last second. And just in the flash of a moment, he heard the crowd and exactly as Diana would have done towards the end of her life, when she was just her own woman, he just did what came naturally. And I love that.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MORGAN: A beautiful moment to end an absolutely spectacular day. It all went off without a hitch. Even the weather stayed good. It made me very proud to be British.

Thank you for watching. We have some blockbuster shows coming up on PIERS MORGAN TONIGHT. All next week, watch out for Rob Lowe, Jessie James, Christy Turlington and a wild Chelsea Handler. They're all coming up on and more next week.
