(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Lindsay eyewitness news.

HAMMER: Yes, Brooke. We got an absolutely remarkable picture today of what Lindsay Lohan is going through in jail from someone who should know. She was right there in Lindsay Lohan`s jail cell block.

But wait! There`s more. This was not just any somebody, the somebody spilling the beans on Lindsay today is a former reality show star who got locked up for ripping off one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: When do you think she`s getting released?

HAMMER (voice-over): SHOWBIZ TONIGHT brings you this brand-new video today from Hollywood.TV of Lindsay Lohan`s mother, Dina, after visiting Lindsay in jail as the swarming paparazzi asked the question we all want to know, what`s it like for Lindsay living in lockdown?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Does she look OK to you?

HAMMER: Mama Lohan may not be speaking but the headlines are screaming, "Lindsay Lohan Cries in Jail," "Inmates Sick of Lindsay Lohan," "Inmates Heckle Her."

Today, a week after Lindsay Lohan began 90-day jail sentence for violating probation, there is no shortage of headlines about Lindsay Lohan`s supposed life on the inside.

But SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you you`re getting a rare eyewitness account today of Lindsay Lohan`s life behind bars from a fellow starlet who was locked up in the cell right beside her.

ALEXIS NEIERS, REALITY TV STAR AND FORMER INMATE OF LINDSAY LOHAN: The last time I saw her, she looked, you know, fine.

HAMMER: Former inmate and reality show star Alexis Neiers tells "E`s" Michael Yo that on Lindsay`s first night in jail last week, she could hear Lindsay crying in her cell.

MICHAEL YO, CORRESPONDENT, "E!": She was crying?

NEIERS: The first day. It`s the last thing you really want to hear, you know, when you`re trying to be strong and just get through the day.

HAMMER: Like Lindsay, Alexis knows what it`s like to go from being young and famous on the Hollywood party scene to being humiliated and locked up in jail.

HAMMER: Alexis starred in the "E!" reality show "Pretty Wild," but she won more fame as a member of the bling ring, a group of alleged young burglars who were accused of breaking into the homes of Hollywood`s biggest stars including, yes, Lindsay Lohan.

Alexis served 90 days of a 180-day jail sentence after pleading no contest to breaking into the home of "Pirates of the Caribbean" megastar Orlando Bloom. Alexis was in the final week of her jail stay here at the Century Regional Detention Facility when Lindsay Lohan was brought in.

NEIERS: She had her head down when she walked by, and she was in orange just like us.

HAMMER: Alexis tells "E!" inmates immediately felt Lindsay was getting special treatment.

NEIERS: I mean, she got to keep her extensions in and everything, which most people don`t. Like, the girls are like they had to take my weave out and cut it all out and, you know, stuff like that.

YO: Lindsay was treated differently than other prisoners. Other inmates, and Alexis said, kind of upset about it.

HAMMER: But Alexis tells "E`s" Michael Yo reports of Lindsay Lohan might be getting beaten up in jail are bogus.

NEIERS: There is no way anybody would ever get near her, have physical contact with her.

HAMMER: But what about the claims Lindsay has been a crying convict? Here`s what Lindsay`s lawyer said outside the jail.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We have information that she has been just hysterically trying. They`re saying inmates are actually teasing her because of Samantha Ronson`s visit and (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

SHAWN CHAPMAN HOLLEY, LINDSAY LOHAN`S ATTORNEY: Definitely not true.

HAMMER: And what about reports that Lindsay might get released from her 90-day sentence as early as this week?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Do you think she`ll get released before this weekend?

HOLLEY: I have my fingers crossed.

HAMMER: Keep them crossed, counselor, because the L.A. County Sheriff`s Department told the "L.A. Times" that Lindsay won`t be released before at least this Sunday, which would mean Lindsay would be serving less than 11 days of her 90-day sentence.

And based on what Alexis Neiers is saying, for inmates like her and Lindsay, freedom can`t come soon enough, especially after the harsh reality of jail sets in.

NEIERS: I think the worst feeling was like the first time when that cell door shuts. You know, and it`s like, "Wow, am I really here?"

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: Now, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did reach out to the L.A. Sheriff`s Department for comments on reports that Lindsay might get out of jail on Sunday. They did not get back to us before show time.

So now we know what it`s been like for Lindsay in lockup, but what`s a mother to do when her daughter is in the slammer? Well, who better to ask than Paris Hilton`s mom who just happens to be speaking out today?

With me, in New York, is Rachel Zalis, who is a contributing editor with "Life and Style Weekly." Right now, from Hollywood, Carlos Diaz, who is a syndicated radio host.

So on the same day, guys, that SHOWBIZ TONIGHT obtained the brand-new video of Dina and Ali visiting Lindsay in jail, Paris Hilton`s mom is sending her support to the Lohans. Brooke Anderson, exactly what is Kathy Hilton saying today?

ANDERSON: A.J., we know Paris went to jail in 2007 for violating probation. And today, Kathy says that she feels Dina`s pain.

She tells "RadarOnline.com" this, "I have sympathy for Dina Lohan right now. Those days when Paris was in jail were some of the most difficult of my life. I think Lindsay will learn from this experience, though. To be in a small cage like that by yourself certainly gives you time to think about things. And for the parent on the outside, it is very hard, too."

Carlos, I`ve got to wonder what, if anything, Lindsay can learn from Paris` experience. What do you think?

CARLOS DIAZ, SYNDICATED RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Yes. You know, the one thing she can learn is this. Once you go to jail, you`ve reached the pinnacle of being bad. And all you can do after that is be good, which means you`re not going to make any more headlines.

So this is the thing. Paris is no longer making headlines for being a bad girl. Paris Hilton really has no talent, so what can she do to make headlines besides being bad?

Lindsay Lohan needs to look at it and say, "OK, I`ve got to stop being bad and start being talented again. That`s how I can get back in the public eye."

ANDERSON: Get some perspective.

DIAZ: Exactly.

HAMMER: Yes. That makes a lot of sense to me. Rachel, what do you think? Any lessons Lindsay can take away from Paris and her time behind bars?

ZALIS: I mean, listen, Paris didn`t totally live up to her post-prison promises -

HAMMER: No -

ZALIS: But she did stay on the up and up, has kept her nose clean. So I think Lindsay really needs to, A, you know, try and just be on the straight and narrow, but also get rid of the people in her life that enable her.

HAMMER: Yes.

ZALIS: Mostly her mother, Dina. I`m not sympathetic at all for that mother.

HAMMER: Yes. The thing is that`s not going to happen.

ZALIS: Yes.

HAMMER: I mean, I can actually - I don`t see any amount of jail or rehab, quite frankly, breaking that up. And you know, lot of us have said that Dina has not been a terrific influence on her daughter.

ZALIS: No, she`s been living the parent trap. That`s the worst influence.

HAMMER: I do want to move on to some other brand-new breaking news today. It`s in the Mel Gibson saga. There are brand-new reports today that Mel Gibson has been sober ever since his DUI arrest four years ago.

Now, think about it. That would mean all these recordings we`ve been hearing of what could be Mel Gibson ranting on his girlfriend on tape would have been sober rants. So Carlos, if that is the case, I`m thinking it`s almost scarier that`s he may be like that sober.

DIAZ: Yes, exactly. If I`m him, I`m going, "I was wasted, man. I don`t even remember making those phone calls. I was so drunk." It was not even funny for him to come out and say - you know, for the rumors to be that he is sober is completely negative against this because it makes him sound like he said these things in his right mind.

HAMMER: Yes.

DIAZ: That`s not the defense you want to use.

HAMMER: No, I think you`re better off saying, "Oh, yes. I was drunk. I`m going off to rehab again, if that`s what I need to do."

Listen to this. Director Oliver Stone now has the unbelievable misfortune of being compared to Mel Gibson today because for some anti-Semitic comments he made to a newspaper. This is wild to me. Brooke, what exactly did he say? Because people are really riled up about this.

ANDERSON: Yes, they are, A.J. Stone`s promoting a new film series called "Secret History of America." And when he was asked about U.S. policies and why there is still so much focus on the Nazi Holocaust, he told "The U.K. Sun Times" this, "The Jewish domination of the media. They stay on top of every comment, the most powerful lobby in Washington. Israel has F`d up United States foreign policy for years."

OK. In a statement to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT today, Stone issued this apology saying, in part, "In trying to make a broader historical point about the range of atrocities the Germans committed against many people, I made a clumsy association about the Holocaust for which I am sorry and I regret."

HAMMER: Wow. And the timing couldn`t be worse for him. Rachel, you know, he`s got "Wall Street," the sequel to one of his biggest hit movies coming out, and I`m thinking regardless of an apology, he may still be facing a boycott for what he said.

ZALIS: Yes. I mean, first of all, this man has made almost $650 million in his films in an industry that he said is dominated by Jews. And his comments are so vile, I think he should go into early retirement with Helen Thomas. I mean, it is unacceptable.

HAMMER: So simply issuing this apology - you think the fact he made them at all is irreparable?

ZALIS: No. I think it`s very transparent. It`s such a "mea culpa because my movie is coming out and I don`t want to offend anybody." And I think it`s just horrible.

HAMMER: Well, it`s going to be interesting to see the fallout particularly when "Wall Street 2" comes out. All right. Rachel Zalis, Carlos Diaz, I thank you both.

ANDERSON: All right. Moving to this now - Linda`s cougar catch. The unbelievable reports today that Hulk Hogan`s 50-year-old ex is engaged to her 21-year-old boyfriend who she met through her 20-year-old son. Oh, no. This all sounds kind of messed up to me.

OK. J.T. for S.C.? Is Justin Timberlake about to replace Simon Cowell on "American Idol"? What do you think? Should they just fire all the judges and start from scratch?

And Chelsea Clinton`s outrageous wedding secrets revealed, like $500,000 for flowers? $15,000 for port-a-potties? Are these gold-plated toilets or what? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask today, is this wedding too over the top? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: It is time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - these are more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Rapper DMX turns himself in to begin serving 90-day jail sentence for 2002 case. Season premiere of AMC`s "Mad Men" draws 2.9 million viewers.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: We use our life all the time. I work. They pay me for that.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTRESS: You mean you laughed. You all laughed. It must be so funny being in on it.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ANDERSON: Hey, we welcome you back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with A.J. Hammer in New York.

HAMMER: All right. Brooke, so what do you think of this - Justin Timberlake to replace Simon at the "American Idol" judge`s table? Also, there have been all kinds of reports that we`re going to settle this once and for all today, is Steve Carell really leaving office? And Angelina Jolie`s brand-new Twitter war. All this making big news in "The Buzz" today.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

(voice-over): Angelina Jolie joins Twitter nation. We have just learned Angelina has reportedly created a Twitter account. But hold on just a second. Don`t expect her to tweet any time soon. Jolie`s account is locked to the public and she`s not accepting followers.

"Us Weekly" reports she started the account to try to prevent people from impersonating her on Twitter and that if she starts tweeting, it would be about her charity work.

Steve Carell out of the office. NBC has just confirmed that Carell is leaving the hit show and next season, his seventh, will be his last. But NBC says the show will go on although they haven`t figured out just what to do yet.

Justin the judge? A brand-new report just out says "American Idol" wants Justin Timberlake to fill Simon Cowell`s empty judge seat on the show.

The "Hollywood Reporter" also says Fox may bring back the show former executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe who ran "Idol" its first seven seasons and that he might consider the so-called nuclear option blowing up the show and replacing all the current judges. Fox tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - no comment.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

ANDERSON: I have to say, Justin Timberlake? No, that`s a name out of left field. Right now, in Hollywood is Kim Serafin, who is a senior editor at "In Touch Weekly."

But Kim, I do have to say I love the idea of Justin Timberlake possibly joining "American Idol." And take a look at this. Our fabulous graphics artist Julie whipped up a group photo of what the "Idol" judging team would look like if Justin came on board. Kim, Justin looks like the perfect fit to me.

KIM SERAFIN, SENIOR EDITOR, "IN TOUCH WEEKLY": Yes. He would be so good. I mean, think how good he was hosting the ESPYs. Think of how good he was on "Saturday Night Live." I mean, he`s a guy - he can sing. He can act. He can dance.

He made the transition from Mouseketeers - you know, "Mickey Mouse Club" to boy band to now what he does now. I mean, he would really be amazing and would bring such a different life to that panel.

The only thing is, if Nigel Lythgoe is really coming back, he made some comment saying the show has become too much about the judges and not about the talent. So would Justin Timberlake draw away from the young talent? And really, would Justin Timberlake do that? He has so many things going on. Could he make that time commitment?

ANDERSON: Right. Is he too busy for it? Let`s talk a little bit about Nigel Lythgoe, Kim, because I find it fascinating that Fox might reportedly bring back "Idol`s" long-time executive producer.

And it really got people wondering if Nigel - if he did come on board, if he might replace all of the judges. So here`s our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - should "Idol" fire all the judges? Kim, is that a crazy idea or just what the show needs - a fresh start?

SERAFIN: I think it might be a great idea to just really mix things up. I mean, again, it`s still the number one show on TV, but that was before Simon Cowell`s new show was coming on.

So maybe they just really need to mix things up, although, they have to have Randy. His contract goes for another year.

ANDERSON: Yes.

SERAFIN: Ellen was signed to a multi-year contract. It might be too expensive to really buy her out.

ANDERSON: Yes.

SERAFIN: But it really would bring so much life and really change the show.

ANDERSON: But I`ve got to say, I really like Randy. I really like Kara and Ellen. And I think "Idol" is a strong show. I don`t necessarily believe they need to totally clean house.

All right. More big reality news today, Kim. We`re talking about "The Real Housewives of D.C." It premieres next week starring infamous White House gatecrasher, Micheale Salahi.

And in a brand-new interview today. She says she doesn`t understand why everyone made a big fuss about her and her husband crashing President Obama`s White House state dinner saying, "It must have been a slow news week."

What? Slow news week? Take a look at what happened after the gate- crashing. All right. Members of the Secret Service were put on leave. The White House social secretary resigns. And congressional hearings investigated what happened. Kim, is Michaele Salahi delusional?

SERAFIN: She might be a little bit delusional, but I also think she understands reality TV.

ANDERSON: A little?

SERAFIN: She knows - well, but look, I think she understands there is a part that she has to play. She turns on the TV and sees the cast of "The Jersey Shore" -

ANDERSON: Yes.

SERAFIN: Bringing New York (UNINTELLIGIBLE) this morning.

ANDERSON: She knows how to get attention. She certainly does.

SERAFIN: Exactly.

ANDERSON: We`re going to have to wrap it up there.

SERAFIN: Exactly.

ANDERSON: Kim Serafin, thanks.

HAMMER: Oh, no. I`ve got some bad news today for the "Jersey Shore" gang. I can tell you why their days of being famous, getting free tanning, getting mobbed wherever they go, may be over. Sorry, Snooks. Time to hit the turnpike.

A brand new explosive war between Lindsay Lohan`s dad and now his ex- fiancee, Kate Major, over nude photos of Kate.

And you can`t miss this. SHOWBIZ caught on tape today. We`re bringing you the best pooped-on moments ever.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: News reporters have been on the receiving end of pigeons.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Hey, it`s a dirty job, but somebody`s got to do it. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: "Real Housewives" star Teresa Giudice`s stuff to be auctioned off August 22nd. Daniel Craig to star in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Talk about a garage sale bargain. Did you see this? This is amazing. A painter in Fresno, California picked up some photo negatives at a garage sale for about $45. But get this, those negatives were shot by famed photographer Ansel Adams. You`re looking at his work now.

Today, these negatives supposedly worth - wait for it - at least $200 million. That is unbelievable. Experts thought the negatives were destroyed in a 1937 fire.

ANDERSON: Wow.

HAMMER: Well, Brooke, I`ve got to tell you. I once bought a Chia penguin at a garage sale. Not worth a penny. Nothing.

ANDERSON: A Chia penguin, huh? That`s totally random, but hilarious, A.J. You know what they say - one man`s trash, another man`s treasure.

All right. Moving on to this. Erin Andrews fighting for tougher anti-stalking laws today. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there in Washington, D.C. with the ESPN reporter. Remember, Erin Andrews was videotaped naked through a hotel peephole by a stalker.

The guy convicted of that terrible crime was sentenced to two years in prison. But today, Erin pointed out she`ll have to deal with this for the rest of her life.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ERIN ANDREWS, ESPN REPORTER: Don`t think because you`re not living your life in the public eye that you`re not a target. Don`t ever let your guard down. You can`t.

I mean, it`s funny talking to - I mean, my girlfriends, you know, my guy friends, you can`t think you`re ever safe. And that`s a really bad way to live. But you just can`t let your guard down just because you think you`re in an area, you know, where you think, "Hey, I`m good. No one knows who I am." It doesn`t matter.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: If passed, this new law would cover peephole video-bugging and other computer-related stalking.

HAMMER: A lot of posts on our Facebook page today about a Kim Kardashian fan who says she`s going to get head-to-toe plastic surgery to look like Kim so her husband won`t leave her.

Lisa R. says that`s a terrible idea, writing, "We all have our own insecurities. But to make yourself look like another person really reaches another level. Be yourself. Beauty fades but dumb is forever."

How true. Julie M. is glad Kim at least told the woman not to get the surgery, writing, "If someone is going to make the decision to get plastic surgery, it should be for themselves and no one else. I`m glad Kim pleaded with the woman not to go through with it."

This is just so bizarre. Linda`s cougar catch. The unbelievable reports today that Hulk Hogan`s 50-year-old ex is engaged to her 21-year-old boyfriend.

Chelsea Clinton wedding secrets revealed - $500,000 for flowers? $15,000 for port-a-potties? Is this wedding too over the top?

And we are revealing Valerie Bertinelli`s brand-new steamy sex secrets today. This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: And now, the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Zac Efron is in talks to star in a film based on a Nicholas Sparks romance novel. Katy Perry wears a plastic bikini in a photo shoot for her new album.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Now, on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT, Linda`s cougar catch. The unbelievable reports today that Hulk Hogan`s 50-year-old ex is engaged to her 21-year- old boyfriend, the boyfriend she met through her 20-year-old son. Is this a good idea, bad idea or what?

Chelsea Clinton`s outrageous wedding secrets revealed. $500,000 for flowers? $15,000 for port-a-potties? SHOWBIZ TONIGHT dares to ask today - is this wedding too over the top?

Look up in the sky. Is it a bird? Yes. Run for cover? Yes. It`s SHOWBIZ caught on tape - best poops ever.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MOOS: Even the Secret Service couldn`t protect the president of the United States from aerial bombardment. Seconds after the hit, then-President Bush wiped it off.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

HAMMER: Plus, today from the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker," "America`s Got Talent" gets a big ratings boost and Toronto Film Fest frenzy with Nicole Kidman, Ben Affleck and Robert De Niro.

ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show continues right now.

(MUSIC)

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.

ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Linda`s cougar catch.

HAMMER: Yes. Brooke, it appears Hulk Hogan`s ex-wife, Linda, is taking the very first step towards marrying her 21-year-old boy toy, a former classmate of her kid. Yes, Linda and Charlie are apparently engaged.

And get this - the two love birds are reportedly planning on marrying on Linda`s yacht which is named "I Love Money." Get it? I`ve got to wonder if the details about Linda`s upcoming wedding has the Hulkster seeing red.

With me in New York, Rachel Zalis, who is a contributing editor for "Life and Style Weekly." From Hollywood, it`s Carlos Diaz who is a syndicated radio host.

So there you have it - Linda Hogan reportedly engaged to her 21-year-old boyfriend, Charlie Hill. Hey, I say, good for her. And some of the headlines I read today - well, I, for one, think they say it all. Chris, can we put a few of these up?

These are my favorites right here. "Classiest cougar wedding of the century." "Linda Hogan to be married to a child." "Linda Hogan robs the cradle." I was online looking at things and just laughing.

But you know, who are we to judge? Anyway, Carlos, is this just totally wrong? Linda met the guy through her own son.

DIAZ: It`s not wrong, A.J., and I`ll tell you why. Because in Hollywood, it`s been done for years where the older man has gone after the younger woman. It`s been that way for years.

This is finally the reverse. And I say, more power to you, Linda. Obviously, they`re sharing hair products right there, as you can see. But this is just equal rights for older women. I love it. Hey, you know what they say? What`s good for the goose is good for the gander. What`s good for the dude is good for the cougar. I`m all for this.

HAMMER: Wow. You spent all day coming up with that one, Carlos.

DIAZ: I did. I did. I did. I did.

(CROSS TALK)

HAMMER: Rachel - I hear this - that was fantastic, Carlos. It was worth whatever time you invested. But Rachel, in all seriousness, this is obviously a marriage made in tabloid heaven. And I can`t even believe I`m trying to be serious.

You know, I don`t know. I hear what Carlos is saying, but at the same time, it just doesn`t feel right.

ZALIS: Oh, come on. This is such a love story, A.J.

HAMMER: Yes.

ZALIS: I mean, this is like - (UNINTELLIGIBLE). It`s like the queen of cougars. It`s the best thing that`s happened in the news lately. And you know, the happiest person is Hulk -

HAMMER: Yes.

ZALIS: Because once those two get married, she`s not seeing any more of that alimony. So this is going to be a good thing for him.

HAMMER: Well, certainly. And I think it is safe to say Hulk Hogan has, in fact, moved on from his marriage to Linda. In fact, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT did confirm late today, Hulk Hogan is now reinventing himself.

And I actually love this idea. He`s going to be a TV pitchman. The first product he`s trying to sell is something called PumMax. It`s a biodegradable pumice-based hand cleaner.

Carlos, you remember and let`s not forget, the great Bill Mays, TV`s most famous pitchman -

DIAZ: You`re right.

HAMMER: He left a big hole in the industry when he died suddenly last year. I actually think Hulk is perfect for this gig. What about you? You think he has what it takes?

DIAZ: He is a born pitchman. If you`ve ever met the guy, he`s constantly selling his TV show, selling this, selling that. He is the perfect pitchman. He is the perfect guy to fill the gap left by Billy Mays. And he`s got a great tag, "Buy my product or I`ll find you." That`s all you need to know right there.

HAMMER: How can you go wrong with that? Chris, can we put this up side by side? We had this made up of Hulk Hogan and Billy Mays next to each other. Look at that. I mean, you know, definitely a distinguished look for each of them. But Brooke Anderson, what do you think? Can Hulk Hogan be the next great TV pitchman for our generation?

ANDERSON: He would be a much blonder, much tanner Billy Mays, but why not? He could carve out his own infomercial identity, you know, ripping off the white beard and tanks, using the wrestling lingo to lure in the public. It would pretty appealing, right?

HAMMER: Not my product.

ANDERSON: Maybe not. All right. I want to move now to another explosive story today -the war between Lindsay Lohan`s dad, Michael, and his now ex- fiancee, Kate Major.

Michael was reportedly trying to sell nude photos of Kate after he was charged with attacking her. Kate just spoke out about this for the first time. Watch what she told TMZ.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED MALE REPORTER: Kate, I mean, I`ve got to ask you - sorry though about the nude photos that were just released.

KATE MAJOR, MICHAEL LOHAN`S EX-FIANCEE: It`s disgusting. I was asleep. I was asleep and this was my fiance and it`s not like an ex-boyfriend or something that, you know, didn`t know me and these were taken in April. And he`s just held on to them and I am disgusted and it is unimaginable.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE REPORTER: Do you plan on taking action against him for this?

MAJOR: That`s up to my lawyers.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: OK. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT reached out to Michael about the pictures. As of show time, we had not heard back. Rachel, each says the other is lying. I don`t know who to believe or whether to think that it`s all maybe a ploy for attention and publicity. What do you think?

ZALIS: It seems that way. I mean, these two played to the paparazzi and are bigger media-mongers than anyone that we have seen. I mean, she`s become Kate Major pain in the you-know-what for every reality TV dad at this point.

So it`s kind of hard to believe, you know, what anyone is saying or really know the lies between the truth here.

ANDERSON: Yes. And Carlos, in no way would anyone ever condone any sort of domestic violence.

DIAZ: Right.

ANDERSON: But does this all sound a little bit fishy to you?

DIAZ: You know, I tell you what - Lindsay Lohan is a celebrity. Michael Lohan is a celebrity by association. Kate Major is a celebrity by association by association. So yes, nothing surprises me with these two.

I say just let them just duke it out in court, no pun intended, and we should just forget about it, you know. Move on.

HAMMER: All right. Let`s up the intelligence quotient or not and move from Lohan drama to "Jersey Shore" drama. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can exclusively reveal some pretty bad news from Snooki and all the gang from Jersey Shore. And I`m here to tell you why their days of fame might be numbered.

You have got to see the brand-new results just handed to me from our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll. We asked this question - "Jersey Shore: Will Snooki`s fame last beyond the show?" Guess what? Put them up. A whopping 94 percent said no. Only six percent said yes.

Now, Rachel, let`s keep in mind the "Jersey Shore" gang rang the opening bell this morning at the New York Stock Exchange, which is strange to say, but it happened. Do you think she really is a passing fad?

ZALIS: You know what? I love Snook more than anybody. But I`ve got to agree with them - her shelf life as short as her skirts at this point. Not going to last there.

HAMMER: What is she going to do? What is she going to do?

ZALIS: Exactly, other than they are trademark pouf, I mean, what is this girl going to do after "Jersey Shore"? Nothing.

HAMMER: Well, see, I had a thought, you know, that Oprah is leaving her show.

ZALIS: Good idea.

HAMMER: No, maybe not such a good idea. Carlos Diaz, my friend, what do you think? You know, Snooki and her trademark pouf were on the cover of the "New York Times" style section over the weekend. Does it get bigger than that when you`re, you know, a fashionable icon as she is? Do you think Snooki is here to stay, my friend?

DIAZ: Wasn`t Richard Hatch a big star at some point when reality TV was big with "Survivor"? I mean, TV reality stars have a shelf life. And the reason that her shelf life is going to be small is because her talent is small just like she is.

She doesn`t really do anything besides just be on the show. So when the show is done, Snooki is done. Unless she can team up with Hulk Hogan and they can sell products together.

HAMMER: I was thinking that as well. But it`s just fun to anticipate what`s going to come out of her mouth next. I mean, it really is always a fun guessing game.

DIAZ: Right.

HAMMER: Rachel Zalis, Carlos Diaz, thanks, guys.

ANDERSON: All right. The countdown is on. In just days, Chelsea Clinton plans to say I do. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT just uncovered today brand-new secrets about Chelsea`s reported multi-million-dollar marriage. Is more really being spent on flowers than security?

Valerie Bertinelli`s shocking sex confession revealed today. She`s feeling 50, fit, feeling good. But what she reveals about her sex life today may surprise you.

Plus, SHOWBIZ caught on tape. Take cover. We`re going to bring you today the best bird bombshells ever.

ANDERSON: This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.

HAMMER: Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: Hey, (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Rihanna`s new role revealed today. The sexy singer is now going to try her hand at acting. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT has just learned Rihanna is going to make her big screen debut in the upcoming movie "Battleship."

I can see and hear it now. You sunk my battleship. Well, this "Battleship" is based on that "Battleship," you know, the popular board game. Rihanna is currently on tour. But filming is expected to begin soon.

Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood.

ANDERSON: A.J., there`s big news just in today - Chelsea`s outrageous wedding. The Clintons are reportedly spending $3 million to $5 million on Chelsea`s wedding of a lifetime this Saturday.

Oprah and other stars will be there. There will be world leaders - which leads to our SHOWBIZ Flashpoint - is Chelsea`s wedding too much over the top?

Right now, in New York, Julie Conley, who is a wedding planner and cast member of the show, "Whose Wedding is It, Anyway?" That`s on Style Network.

Hey, Julie, "The New York Daily News" broke it all down today. Check this out. $600,000 will be spent for air conditioned tents with glass walls and snazzy new floors. $155,000 in booze and food for the guests, including the hors d`oeurvres, the sit-down dinner and the after-party food.

And Chelsea`s spending about $25,000 for either a Vera Wang or Oscar de la Renta dress. Julie, you are a very experienced wedding planner to the rich and the famous. Does this seem too over the top?

JULIE CONLEY, WEDDING PLANNER AND CAST MEMBER, "WHOSE WEDDING IS IT ANYWAY": Not at all. I - you know - absolutely not. Actually, I think they low-balled a little bit. And considering his net worth and what he talks about on a general basis and what she`s grown up with, I mean, this is not anything different than we would see on a normal basis. I mean, it`s so easy to spend $500,000 on flowers. You have no idea.

ANDERSON: Wow.

CONLEY: It`s square footage -

ANDERSON: You know, you`re saying this is not unusual, and it`s just indicative of how the other half live. And, you know, there is no doubt that Hillary and Bill are pulling out all the stops for this wedding.

I mean, just look at these deluxe port-a-potties. They`re reportedly spending $50,000 on these bad boys. Not only that, but they`re reportedly spending $150 a pop for the wedding invitations.

You know how these big glitzy affairs tend to go. So what is the most outrageous figure you`ve seen, Julie, with Chelsea`s wedding?

CONLEY: I haven`t because none of the figures really seem that high to me. Unbelievably - I mean, we`re trying to speculate who is the designer. We think it`s Preston Bailey. He doesn`t even look at a project that`s under $500,000.

And it`s square footage. If you take, you know, a two-inch flower and it cost $10 and you multiply it - 100,000 times - you do the math. I mean, it`s very, very easy to do - wedding bouquets alone.

ANDERSON: You`re not surprised, but I almost had a heart attack, Julie -

CONLEY: I know. But think about -

ANDERSON: When I heard these figures. And I`ve got to move to the - there is something that is generating a whole lot of controversy with this. Chelsea reportedly spending a whopping $500,000 on flowers but only $200,000 on security.

The ladies of "The View" today had a hard time believing those figures. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ELISABETH HASSELBECK, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": If this is true, I would think they would want more security than flowers.

(CROSS TALK)

SHERRI SHEPHERD, CO-HOST, "THE VIEW": No, security is $200,000 because they have to monitor the land, the air and the sea.

HASSELBECK: But flowers are more than that, which is my point. $250,000, I think, was on this reported list, on the second one that we got. That`s a lot of money for flowers.

SHEPHERD: Maybe they like gardenias and jasmine.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Julie, very quickly. Is something out of whack or no?

CONLEY: You know what? Absolutely not. I mean, again, you know, clearly, Jessica Simpson`s bouquet, all stephanotis - probably $5,000 just for her bouquet.

ANDERSON: Holy molly. You know, we`ve got to leave it there. Girlfriend`s got expensive taste. No doubt it`s going to be some shindig.

CONLEY: Yes, no doubt.

ANDERSON: Julie Conley, thank you.

CONLEY: Thank you.

ANDERSON: And be sure to check out "Whose Wedding is It, Anyway?" Saturdays at 9:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on the Style Network.

HAMMER: You know, with all the millions reportedly being spent on Chelsea Clinton`s big wedding, I actually don`t know if there is any amount of money or secret service detail that can protect the A-list guests from getting pooped on.

Pigeons pelted Grammy Award winners Kings of Leon with poop when they were on stage. It shut down their show. SHOWBIZ caught on tape today - the best poops ever. Here`s CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

JEANNE MOOS, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): Sometimes concerts get canceled due to bad weather. What came raining down on the Kings of Leon was pigeon poop. You couldn`t really see it, just the drummer wiping his face then the bass guitarist wiping his face and then the lights went out and the band left the Verizon amphitheater in St. Louis.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They played three songs and now, they`ve just announced that they`re quitting.

CROWD: Refund!

MOOS: Kings of Leon get pooped on and return the favor to their fans. The fans struck back posting concert videos.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: We do apologize. The situation is beyond our control.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Your apologies is not worth $50.

MOOS: The fans pecked at the band. What a bunch of weenies. Prissy prima donnas.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You should have just manned up and got some of you assistants to hold an umbrella.

MOOS: But the bass guitarist said he was hit by pigeons on each of the songs, "By the end of the show, I would have been covered from head to toe."

(on camera): The band`s management says the final straw was when a band member was hit on the cheek right near the mouth.

(voice-over): "It`s not only disgusting, it`s a toxic health hazard." The usual hazards for performers are things like beer being thrown at them or as he left a concert the rapper Akon, didn`t just stay. He sent security after the teenager.

AKON: You made a big mistake today, boy. Bring him up here.

MOOS: But after Akon tossed the teenager, the rapper ended up pleading guilty to harassment and doing community service. Anyway, the Kings of Leon could not do this to a flock of pigeons. News reporters have been on the receiving end of pigeons.

(on camera): Even the Secret Service couldn`t protect the president of the United States from aerial bombardment.

(voice-over): Seconds after the hit, then President Bush wiped it off.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Improperly took by our own admission.

MOOS: The bride-to-be wore white all right during this "Mad TV" wedding proposal.

UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: These past three years have been the most wonderful years. You are the most beautiful woman in the world to me right now.

MOOS: At least that didn`t happen to any rock stars.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They probably ingest more horrible things like drugs and alcohol. A little bird poop won`t kill you once in a while.

MOOS: He should know. Look where we found him sitting. Ironically, they`re chanting the wrong kind of (EXPLETIVE DELETED).

(END VIDEOTAPE)

HAMMER: That was CNN`s Jeanne Moos for SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. Now, as for the Kings of Leon, refunds were issued to all of the disappointed fans. But do not underestimate the power of the poop.

ANDERSON: Valerie`s sex secrets. Valerie Bertinelli reveals a new sex confession today. Wait until you hear what`s going on behind closed doors in Bertinelli`s bedroom.

Time now for the "SHOWBIZ News Ticker" - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.

TEXT: Kidman, Affleck and De Niro to debut films at the Toronto Film Festival. Naomi Watts named the new face of Ann Taylor`s 2010 fall campaign.

ANDERSON: Here now, the "SHOWBIZ Buzz List." Here`s what the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT staff just can`t stop buzzing about right now.

We are ready for the big premiere of "Rubicon" on AMC this Sunday. Robert De Niro`s new movie, "Stone" looks really good. And GTL, baby - gym, tanning, laundry - we can`t wait for season two of "Jersey Shore." Hey, of course, we love wearing flip-flops at the shore. And we`re totally buzzing about "Talking Tom," the new iPad app with Tom, the talking cat. Hey, Talking Tom, what do you think?

"TALKING TOM": Hi, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I can`t believe I made the buzz list. I love this show.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

HAMMER: Valerie Bertinelli says her sex life was still red hot even when she was heavy. The "Hot in Cleveland" star reveals dramatic new details today about her sex life.

Valerie dropped a lot of weight. But in the brand-new issue of "Prevention" magazine, Valerie says sex was never an issue when she was heavier. Valerie says, quote, "It was pretty good, even when I was big. My fiance Tom likes me at any size. I`m lucky that way."

Something did change, though, when Valerie lost all that weight. She says she stopped snoring. And might I add, Valerie, you look fantastic.

So Brooke, the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines have been ringing nonstop all day long. A lot of calls coming in like crazy. There`s so many people who want to weigh in on Mel Gibson`s messy break up with his ex-girlfriend, Oksana, and the alleged Mel tapes, of course.

ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. Bettye from Kentucky believes that Oksana is after Mel`s millions. So Bettye called the "Showbiz on Call" phone lines today and told us how she really feels.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

BETTYE, CALLER FROM KENTUCKY: I think that Mel Gibson is (UNINTELLIGIBLE) phone. I think that he`s trying to do the best. And I think that she`s - honestly, she`s pushing him to the limit and that all she`s interested in is his money and what he can do for her.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

ANDERSON: Thanks, Bettye.

HAMMER: Well, wait until you hear what Diana has to say. She`s also from Kentucky and says that given all of Mel`s current drama, she is through with him.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

DIANA, CALLER FROM KENTUCKY: I kind of grew up watching him. And for sure, I will never go see another movie with him in it. Things that I`ve heard him say about children, about other people, about - complete sexist. And how anybody could blame his girlfriend is ridiculous.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

HAMMER: Thanks for your call, Diana. You can call us at "Showbiz on Call" so you can sound off on this or anything else at all.

ANDERSON: The "Showbiz on Call" phone lines are always open. Call us - 1- 888-SBT-BUZZ. That`s 1-888-728-2899. Simply leave a message. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.

HAMMER: On Monday, we asked you to vote on our SHOWBIZ TONIGHT exclusive poll. I just received the final results. "`Jersey Shore:` Will Snooki`s fame last beyond the show? Sorry, Snooks. Look at this - only six percent of you said yes. Ninety-four percent of you said no.

Check out this E-mail we got from Tammy in North Carolina who supports Snooki, writing, "Snooki will make it,"

But there was no love for Snooki on our Facebook page. A lot of people say Snooks, your 15 minutes of fame, they`re done.

Now, Savannah W. just posted this message, "Who was she before this? A nobody. Who will she be after this? Nobody."

You can join the debate on Facebook. You can go behind the scenes of SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. You can also get breaking entertainment news alerts on Twitter. And you can call us at "Showbiz on Call." There`s always E-mail. We still have that up and running. "SHOWBIZ Connects" can be found at CNN.com/ShowbizTonight.

HAMMER: And don`t forget, we are still TV`s most provocative entertainment news show seven days a week at 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific right here on HLN.
