Aired May 16, 2003 - 19:45   ET

THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Want to bring you the latest now, the breaking news that we're monitoring out of Casablanca, Morocco. Several car bombs exploded about two hours ago in the city of Morocco. They're not saying how many, they're just going with several car bombs.
They're also saying that several people have been left dead or wounded. Again, not an exact number on the amount of casualties right now. A spokesman for the Casablanca Ministry of Interior simply says that this is part of the terror we're facing all over the world.

A number of car bombs going off around 10:00 p.m. local time. That's just about two hours ago in the Moroccan city of Casablanca. We are monitoring the situation.
