MILES O'BRIEN, CNN ANCHOR: This just in to us now: authorities in central London are responding to an apparent derailment on the London Underground right near the Chancery Lane station. Apparently one of the trains -- subway they call it there -- the tube derailed there. There are several people injured, but we're told it appears none of those injuries are life-threatening, mostly cuts and bruises and so forth.
The London Fire Brigade received the call within the past hour. As you know, or many of you know who have been there, the Underground system is a very comprehensive and perhaps the oldest system in the world.
We're watching that closely; we'll keep you up to date on any details that come out of that. Once again, in London at the Chancery Lane station, derailment. Apparently, no very serious injuries.
