NATALIE ALLEN, CNN ANCHOR: A quick story we're checking out and we'll continue to follow this afternoon. We want you to take a look at some folks' predicament at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. A roller coaster is stuck. There seems to be a couple of dozen of people just sitting there on what seems to be, from this advantage point, the highest loop that this very high-roller coaster makes.

As the helicopter camera pulls out there, you will see how high these people are. We don't know how long they've been there or whether they're trying to fix the roller coaster to get them down or sending people up to take them down. But this is something we will continue to watch. Again, it's at Six Flags Over Texas at Arlington.

Just a few seconds ago, the people that were stuck here were waving, seemed to be taking it in stride so far. But we will wait and see how long it takes for them to get down there.

And I've just received information that some of them have cell phones. So, they're able to communicate with others on the ground. We'll continue to watch it and bring you any more developments.

Again, Six Flags Over Texas at Arlington, the roller coaster that's not going anywhere. At least they're not hanging upside down like some have this summer at other theme parks.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

ALLEN: Again, pictures from Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, the roller coaster there. These are close-up pictures of the folks who are stuck on very tall loop of this roller coaster. It seems about a dozen people are stuck. We don't know how long they've been there.

When this camera zooms out, you will you appreciate how high these people are. They're staying calm so far, from what we can see. They've been waving to people down below and to the camera. There they go. Some have cell phones, we are told.

No information yet on how they plan to get these people down, if they're -- I'm sure they're trying to get the roller coaster working again because it would be kind of difficult to send crews up, but with cherry pickers for this than one. So, we'll continue to watch it. Again, it's Arlington, Texas and we'll bring you updates on "CNN LIVE TODAY" in about 20 minutes.
