DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: It appears we have the answer in case you're wondering. There's the Boeing jet taking off. The Boeing Corporation leaving the northwest, leaving Seattle. They had set up as a P.R. stunt how they were going to announce where the next city was going to be, Chicago, Dallas, or Denver. And just going to announce it in the air.

CNN has learned from state a official that they are indeed headed to Chicago. So Boeing moving from the northwest to Chicago. The plane had filed three different flight plans so they could go to any of the three cities.

But indeed, if you are standing by in Dallas or Denver, looks like you can go home because this plane that has disappeared in the clouds we believe through a state official is headed to Chicago.

LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: And it is interesting because we have been saying that were let word of this get out once they got in the air. They barely got in the air before we got the word. And here's what I've just been told. I've just been told that the governor received a letter from Boeing.

KAGAN: The governor of Illinois.

HARRIS: Of Illinois, got a letter from Boeing saying that Chicago was going to be the pick. And we've just got the word on that.

KAGAN: OK.

(CROSSTALK)

HARRIS: So they barely got the wheels up and the word got out.

KAGAN: Once again, thanks to our affiliate KIRO in Seattle helping us out with those pictures. We'll have to stand by. Well, we'll be off air by the time they land in Chicago. But Lou and Natalie will probably be here by then.

HARRIS: I hope.

KAGAN: You never know.

HARRIS: You never know around here. TO ORDER A VIDEO OF THIS TRANSCRIPT, PLEASE CALL 800-CNN-NEWS OR USE OUR SECURE ONLINE ORDER FORM LOCATED AT www.fdch.com
