Reagan to Undergo Surgery to Repair Broken Hip Saturday

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Former President Ronald Reagan fell on Friday afternoon and broke his right hip. He is slated for surgery tomorrow -- Saturday. You're looking at pictures now of the hospital there in Santa Monica, California. It is said that his wife Nancy is at his side. We'll continue to get more updates on what's happening from Santa Monica.

These, you see pictures from a few years ago. You well know that the former president suffers from Alzheimer's disease; that was announced back in November of 1994.

Again, President Ronald Reagan is the hospital tonight with a broken hip. We do expect surgery to take place Saturday -- tomorrow in Santa Monica.
