NATALIE ALLEN, CNN ANCHOR: We have this story just in from New York in Manhattan, apparently another building collapse. There was a building collapse yesterday in Brooklyn which killed three people. Now we're told what you're seeing here, via these live pictures from a helicopter.
We're told the wall of an East Village building in Manhattan has collapsed, apparently trapping three people in the rubble. That's according to the fire department. Almost 200 firefighters, 47 units, have responded to this, a four-story commercial building at 14th and 2nd Avenue.
The fire department said they have received reports that three people were trapped. They don't know if they were inside the building when the wall collapsed or if they were outside. This south wall of the building apparently collapsed into a small courtyard there in Manhattan.
We will continue to get updates on this development. Again, a wall collapsing in Manhattan. Three people perhaps, trapped, that hasn't been confirmed.
