NEW YORK (CNN) -- The U.S. military has plenty of high-tech gadgets at its disposal. Smart bombs. Smart guns.

But what about smart T-shirts? This recent invention has a sensor system woven right into the cotton fabric, which can transmit crucial information about its wearer in times of combat.
