Cell towers threaten migratory birds
November 11, 1999 When songbirds fly south for the winter, they face many dangers besides hungry cats. It's estimated that every year millions of migrating songbirds are killed by flying into telecommunication towers. As more towers are built, there's renewed concern they could wipe out entire bird populations. CNN Correspondent Ann Kellan reports.
