U.S. DOT provides Y2K resource guide for State and local agencies

(IDG) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has released a
Year 2000 resource guide to help state and local governments develop plans
to ensure that their transportation systems keep running when the new year
begins.

"Are You Ready? Managing Transportation Resources Through the Y2K Weekend" is the product of a workshop DOT and Public Technology Inc. conducted with 20 state and local transportation officials on developing Year 2000 management plans.
Copies of the resource guide can be obtained from the Federal Highway Administration's Year 2000 World Wide Web site or by calling (202) 366-8033.
