(IDG) -- Intel has released a combination modem and network hub that allows several employees in a small office to share one Internet account. The InBusiness Internet Station 56K puts a 56Kbps V.90 modem together with a four-port 10Mbps network hub. About the size of a paperback book, the device is available now for an estimated street price of $289.
Intel also released its InBusiness Network Setup Wizard software, which is included with the Internet Station 56K and with any of the company's InBusiness hubs or switches. The Wizard is available for download and also can be obtained on a CD. The software contains step-by-step instructions for setting up file and print sharing arrangements and connecting computers.
