Gates' deposition tape shown in court
NEW YORK (CNN) -- Government lawyers are showing portions of last summer's videotaped deposition of Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates. The Department of Justice hopes the tape will bolster its landmark antitrust case against the software company.
Head Justice Department attorney David Boies played the first few snippets from Gates' 10-hour deposition, itself edited from three days of rigorous questioning. Part of Gates' testimony focuses on Microsoft's fragile relationship with Apple Computer.
