Pilots converge on Oshkosh for Fly-In '97

OSHKOSH, Wisconsin (CNN) -- The largest air show and fly-in in the world opened in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Wednesday. The annual EAA Fly-In Convention attracts more experimental aircraft and spectators than any other air show. More than 800,000 people are expected to attend the 45th annual EAA '97; more than 12,000 planes will descend on Wittman Regional Airport.
Throughout the day, CNN's Jeff Flock reported live from the Fly-In to bring viewers a glimpse of what aviation enthusiasts flock to every year.
