From Correspondent Steve Baxter
(CNN) -- By now you've probably heard of Beanie Babies,
whether or not you've stood in line to purchase Digger the
Crab, Crunch the Shark, Radar the Bat or one of the dozens of
other plush toys.
Beanies are not only hot in stores, they're hot on the
Internet.
Start at the official site, hosted by the manufacturer,
Ty. Here you'll find pictures of all 118
animals and printable lists to keep track of the ones you
own.
A new batch of babies were just born, and another group has
retired. All the updates are on the site.
The Info Beanie of the Month keeps a daily diary of all
things Beanie, includes poems from fans, and recounts the
Beanie life at Ty.
There are games to play and print out, and the Beanie
Connection lets you post your thoughts about your favorite
animal, plus see what's for sale or trade.
The Beanie Mom Netletter is "dedicated to Beanie lovers around the world" and is packed with Beanie information.
Beanie hunting stories let you share tales about finding that
elusive bear.
And if you're a real addict, be sure to check the Beanie
Hunter's Survival Kit for warning signs of obsession.
If you are obsessed -- even a little -- you'll want to visit
the Beanie Baby Web Ring. A Web ring is a group of related sites that link to each other, and the Beanie ring has nearly 50 sites.
Hosted by Kim, whose Beanie site is a jumping off point, each
site is pre-screened and must be Beanie-related.
A trip around the ring will help you find sites like The
Beanie Babies Buddy Club or the Beanie
Lovers Club.
