(CNN) -- Looking for something tasty?
There's a Web site that's a virtual farmer's market at
http://www.FarmDirect.com. It's open 24 hours a day and will
deliver from the farm to your home.
This shopping site is run by farmers showcasing fresh
produce and specialty foods from dozens of growers -- baking
potatoes from the North, sweet potatoes from the South, fresh
herbs and preserves from Pennsylvania, apples from Washington
state and hot peppers from California.
Each item is beautifully photographed, and many have
preparation suggestions. FarmDirect guarantees that you'll
be satisfied with the quality and freshness of every order.
If you're looking for a good barbecue sauce recipe to spice
up this summer's cooking, check out "Barbecue'n on the Internet."
This site teaches you the history of the art of barbecue, the
difference between a grill and a smoker and the proper
techniques for pulling off the perfect outdoor meal. There's
a section that covers the most important tools for the
barbecuer and a long list of recipes.
Another site -- "DineNet Menus Online" -- has menus, prices, reviews, restaurant addresses and phone numbers. The site
allows you to search for restaurants alphabetically,
by location, or cuisine.
Its' creators hope it will appeal to domestic and
international business travelers, vacationers and restaurant
connoisseurs.
