(CNN) -- Halloween has hit the internet in a host of scary web sites.

H-O-Webbery

A good starting place to find tricks and treats on the web is Halloween-O-Webbery.

It's full of jumps to almost any web site celebrating All Hallows' Eve. You can visit a virtual cemetery, find out where to buy the most ghoulish costumes, or visit some haunted houses.

Dark Side

The web's dark side is out in full force this holiday, and if you check out the Dark Side of the Web home page, you'll find horror, fiction, devil worship, and over 350 links to just about anything eerie. This is a site parents might want to look at before showing it to the kids.

Penny Whistle

A great kid-safe site to check out is the Penny Whistle Halloween Book. It's full of great looking graphics that help kids find costumes, plan parties, or learn about the history of Halloween. There are even pumpkin carving tips for an original creation. Or if you're looking for a corny joke, this is the place to go.
